We have a secluded villa with large grounds and private pool close to the French Rivera, tucked into the Alpine foot hills. The villa is a great place for a family holiday, surrounded by vineyards and ancient villages. The space This hillside villa has fabulous views and plenty of space, with easy access to the French Riviera and Provence. There is a large swimming pool with extensive deck, a sheltered, tiled terrace adjacent to the kitchen and dining room. Another outside seating area with a stone table is located overlooking the pool. The gardens are secluded and have olive and palm trees. The sheltered terrace has an outside gas BBQ, a dining table and a double garden sofa and two soft furnished chairs. Just down from the terrace there is an outside large pizza oven. Bedroom 1 downstairs has its own outside seating area through French windows. The village of Figanieres -- a five minute drive or 30 minute walk -- has narrow streets and an old church. The region is full of wonderful villages, where rural life is thriving. The centre of village life is the (child friendly) bar. There are also great pastry / bread shops, smaller grocery stores, a post office, a natural spring with the best water you have ever tasted and a tourist information centre. A ten minute walk from the house across the vineyards is the nearest wineries, where the excellent local rose may be stolen for 5 Euros a bottle.
