Site fits 2-3 tents or small camper/camper van. Outhouse by 2 min walk. Bring your own drinking water. -24hr gas station near by -5 miles gas & groceries -Several lakes and rivers close by with public boat ramps -1 hour & 15 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park The space You definitely won’t find the crowds out here. It’s super peaceful out on our private property! Bring your camper/tent and camp on our 41 acre wooded property with wild blueberries growing around. There’s tons of wildlife roaming around. Our drive in is gravel and not muddy. You can drive in with any vehicle. Children and pets welcome. There is wildlife on the property so be aware. We are secluded yet still close to necessities and restaurants. Just down the road are a couple of gas stations for access to restrooms and food. Irving Station is open 24 hours. We also have a small grocery store a couple of miles up the road. Guest access You'll be able to access the entire site. Other things to note There are wild animals on the property as well as bears and coyotes are known to be in the area. Bear spray and/or horn would be good to bring should you wish for some protection. Making loud noises such as banging pots/pans or other sounds should keep them at bay. Talking while you're in your tent and while you're out and about should also help in keeping them away. It gets pretty dark at night and can be a task setting up. Best to arrive during the daylight hours for optimal experience. Roads on the property are not paved. Please drive slow to preserve roads and for people who may be out walking enjoying nature.
