The cottage was originally the cookhouse for the farmhouse located on the property and has been thoughtfully reimagined and appointed to provide for every modern convenience while maintaining its historic details. The cottage is the perfect pet-friendly escape for outdoors enthusiasts, affording access to hiking, fly fishing, wineries/breweries, canoeing, mountain biking, e-bike rentals, & beautiful sunrises/sunsets. Located close to the historic Edinburg Mill and Restaurant (dating to 1848) and along Stoney Creek, the property is surrounded by a 500 acre working farm. Relax and cozy up with a book or glass of wine by the wood-burning fireplace. Take in the sunset from one of two fire pit areas. The historic barn has been removed and its foundation now serves as an elegant patio, equipped with a grill, outdoor dining for eight, with string lights and firepit. When ripe, please help yourself to the garden’s fresh herbs, fruits and veggies.
