Inside the home, you’ll find top notch amenities: chef’s kitchen, wet bar with ice maker, double sided wood fireplace, vaulted ceilings, kids bunk room, views of the lake from every room and from the wrap around porch. The space Z Retreat is a custom log home at the end of Green Glade Cove. The home is located at the end of Green Glade Cove with quiet waters and a double dock to enjoy the sunsets and calm mornings. It’s ideal for swimming, kayaking, fishing and boating. We also have a hot tub. The state mandated wetlands are on one side of the property with an empty lot on the other side. The home offer trees with views of the lake, but respite from the neighbors. There are two outdoor fire pit zones: rustic pit in the trees and solo stove near the patio with Adirondack chairs. The outdoor space is complemented by three large picnic tables with shade umbrellas, a grill and a wrap-around porch on three sides of the house. A calming water sound can be heard throughout the outdoor space from the water feature leading to a waterfall and pond. Inside the home, you'll find amenities galore! In the main level great room, enjoy the breathtaking design of the vaulted knotty pine ceiling, with expansive windows previewing the lake. The double-sided wood burning fireplace, leather sofas, and large 75" smart TV, and 10-foot dining table compliment the space with all the amenities you need to keep everyone thoroughly entertained. The dining table can expand to seat 12 or consolidate for an intimate setting. The kitchen is a chef's dream, recently renovated and stocked full of high-end appliances and cookware, including a fully stocked appliance closet with a crockpot, insta-pot, blender, and so much more. The stone counters, luxury Wolf brand-appliances, double convection ovens, gas eight burner cooktop, farmhouse sink, dual-temperature wine fridge and icemaker will make you excited to whip up something tasty. Elsewhere on the main level, you'll find the primary master en suite with king bed, double sided fireplace, plush leather chair, lake facing double doors opening to the wrap around porch. The opposite side of the great room are two king bedrooms with views of the lake with a full bath shared between the rooms. On the opposite side of the home, a kid’s kingdom creates a secluded space for kids to play. There is a custom build bunk room with four queen beds, with steps down the middle and a tv zone with an extended lovesac sofa and 75 inch smart tv. A full bath rounds out the space. There is a barn door closing off the entire space for privacy. The upstairs loft is separated by a bridge across the great room. One side is an en suite two queen bedroom with lake facing windows. The bathroom is newly renovated with premium finishes. The opposing side of the loft is a gaming space with a poker/puzzle table, a cabinet filled with board games and a lounge space with a tv. The entire space looks over the great room. Located near the Swanton side of Deep Creek Lake, Z Retreat offers the perfect vantage for enjoying all that Deep Creek Lake has to offer. The popular lakefront Harbor Bar and Honi Honi Bar, as well as the local movie theater and the 24-hour market, Arrowhead, are all located within a 10 minute drive of the house. Some of our favorite spots: the popular Pawn Run Bar, Deep Creek Lake's oldest bar or Firewater, which his accessible by boat. Donuts from Casselman’s Bakery (Thurs-Sat) is 10 minutes away.
