Enjoy an extended family vacation, pre-wedding gathering, multi-family getaway, or a large group seeking wanderlust fulfillment The space This listing includes 2 separate Geodomes located right near one another. Each have their own kitchen or kitchenette and bathroom with a hot shower, sink and flush toilet. Here are the sleeping details: The larger Dome has one spacious bedroom downstairs with king bed plus floor mattress as well as a loft space with a queen bed & sleeper chair for a recommended capacity of up to 6 guests. You’ll also enjoy a living room with a sofa, comfy chairs & coffee table, smart TV, a table that seats 6, a full-sized beautiful bathroom with double vanity & tub/shower, as well as a full kitchen with gas stovetop & oven, sink, fridge/freezer, microwave & coffee maker. The smaller dome has a queen bed plus a twin-over-full bunkbed (that converts into a futon) plus a floor mattress & sleeper chair. There is a large table that seats 6, and kitchenette with refrigerator/freezer, toaster oven, 2-burner hot plate with pots & pans, plus a microwave & coffee maker. A private bathhouse is steps from the dome with a hot shower, flushing toilet, and vanity sink where you'll access water for the dome. With spaces to relax in 2 outdoor spaces, your group will have plenty of space to lounge by the creek & make memories around a fire and enjoy gas grills at both domes. Guest access You’re welcome to explore our 10 acres of property including 900 ft of creek frontage, a hiking trail to the ridge, and mountain views. We ask that you do not enter any other units. No one else has access to your domes & bathhouse. Other things to note We will offer directions that avoid the worst roads but you will encounter gravel and a few ruts coming into the property. Any vehicle can make it fine when taking it slow but a larger vehicle with higher clearance is preferred. Only in winter when there is snow and ice is 4wd recommended. We provide coffee, creamer, sugar, snacks, plus all the bedding, towels, soap, TP, etc that you’ll need for your stay. We share the forest with wildlife including insects, spiders, snakes, black bears, and others. We take precautions to keep your glamping spot as pest-free as possible but in rare situations you still may find some forest friends inside. We’ve found the bears in the area to be skittish and don’t desire human contact. The Cosby entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park is 3 mi in one direction, rafting on the Pigeon River is 3 mi in another direction, and we can show you some beautiful fishing spots for bass & trout less than 3 miles from our place.
