An unique and tranquil getaway. An exotic Beach villa for a family or friends located in a Tropical paradise named Ushongo bay. A hidden beach away from touristic crowds. Enjoy a lovely vacation surrounded by the natural beauty of East African coast and music of the waves of Indian Ocean. The space Jumapili Beach Villa is a beach villa located on the sand of Ushongo beach, Pangani, Tanga region, Tanzania. It is on the first line just a few steps from the beach. The villa has a big veranda with a gorgeous ocean view. There is a dinning area and outdoor furniture. The villa has one master bedroom with a queen size bed 6/6 feet. There is a second bedroom with two separate beds 4/7 feet. All beds are equipped with mosquito nets. All windows and the entry door are equipped with mosquito shutters. All windows have curtains. There is a fridge used as a minibar. Minibar content has a price list and it is refilled on guests request. Each room has a luggage rack, fan and night lamps. There is also an electrical kettle, tea/coffee cups, wine and water glasses. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE ! 1. STAFF. There is a Manager runing all our Beach properties. His name is Stanley. He speaks English and Swahili. He is available 24/7. He will meet you upon arrival and will give you the keys of the villa. The Villa has a housecaretaker and a gardener. They are on duty from 8:00 am until 16:00. In order to provide a good relax and secure your privacy during your stay their working schedule could be adjusted accordingly as per your request. Please let us know your preferences. 2. SECURITY. There is a Night Watch Security. He is on duty from sunset until sunrise. 3. ELECTRICITY. There is central electricity from Tanesco. Power ottages and interruptions are very often. There is a back up generator on petrol used in such cases. Due to operational costs and limitations It’s operation is limited for a few hours in the morning and and in the evening. 4. WATER. Water supply is sweat water from a city pipeline installed recently. There is a well as a backup water source. However It is recommended for drinking water to use bottles only. 5. HOT WATER. Electrical water heater provides hot water. Please do not use it when there is an electricity power interruption and the electricity is provided by backup generator only. 6. INTERNET. There is no free WiFi Internet. The only available Internet in the area is the mobile data provided by any of the Tanzanian mobile operators: Vodafone, Airtel and Tigo. WiFi pocket router and WiFi router with a SIM card slot available on request. Mobila data plans with choosen GBs are paid. Our staff could provide a SIM card and could assist you with purchasing a suitable mobile data plan for you. 7. MEAL/FOOD. There is a Kitchen located in a separate building just a few steps from the villa. It is well equipped with everything necessary. It is used by our staff to prepare breakfasts and meals for our guests. It is also designed to be used by our two villas guests if they want to prepare their own food. Please let us know if you would like to use the kitchen. We will provide a key and an acces to it. Please leave the kitchen clean after using it. Please pay attention that the fridge shelves and the shelves for products are separated and labeled with the name of each villa and for staff. We would like to introduce some of our Meal/Food options available. We hope that could make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast is included in the night rate. Option 1. “Catch of the Day” This is like in a restaurant. The price is calculated as a meal per person. It could be for lunch, dinner or both. So it is your choice how many meals per day you would like. The price per meal is between 9.00-13.00 USD/meal/person depending on what is the Catch of the day. Fish, octopus, prawn are cheaper. Lobsters are most expensive. Local fishermen deliver Fresh catch to our doorstep everyday. Our Chef-Cook will assist you to make your choice. You could discus with her all available meal and menu options and your personal preferences. She will take care of the rest. Please keep in mind that she will arrange the delivery the day before for the next days. Sometimes your choice is limited. It is a matter of availability. It depends on what is the daily catch of local fishermen. Our Chef-Cook prepares your food using traditional Swahili recipies. All our house caretakers are great cooks aswell. We also have some other local girls available as a Cook and kitchen helper. Option 2. “Personal Chef-Cook”. You would have your personal Cook. That extra service would be 20$/day. This is our recommended option. Most of our guests preffer it and love it. Our Chef-Cook will organize and buy all the products she needs. You also could bring your own products. You could choose and buy all products you need by yourself. Our Chef-Cook could assist you with that shopping if necessary. She will prepare your meals using traditional Swahili recipies. You may discus with her all available meal options and your personal preferences. Please arrange ahead of time what time would you like to have breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. That would allow our Chef-Cook to plan and organize her job. In some cases depending on the number of guests there could be another kitchen-helper for extra help in the kitchen. Breakfast, lunch and/or dinner are served on the veranda. Please keep in mind that we treat with respect our staff add we add extra payment to their salaries for doing such additional service. Option 3. Local Restaurants. There are three recommended restaurants available in Ushongo beach area. 1. Mike’s Beach Cottages Restaurant & Bar. 2. Ushongo Beach Bandas Bar & Restaurant. 3. Emayani Beach Lodge Restaurant. Mike’s Restaurant and Ushongo Bandas Bar are 15-20 minutes walking distance from the house. Emayani Lodge is a bit far away around 45 minutes walking. Each restaurant is also accessible by car and has a parking behind. Enjoy natural and healthy homemade food and have a good time in our Ushongo :-) 7. LAUNDRY. Laundry Machine is located in the kitchen. It is for staff usage only. Please reffer to our staff If you need a laundry. There will be additional charge per laundry. 8. IRON. Please reffer to our staff. They will provide and deliver an iron and ironing board to your villa. 9. SHOPPING. If you need to do any shopping please refer to our Manager or other staff member. They will assist you with this matter.
