The cabin can be booked with short notice. We usually can accommodate a stay with 2 hours notice. Our check in and check our are flexible when possible. Standard check in is 3 pm and check out is 11am. Find your self in this peaceful cabin secluded in the middle of 28 acres. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The space The living area has an open design from the kitchen and has a wood burning fireplace in the corner. It has a large leather couch and love seat with a large foot rest. There is only one Smart TV. It’s in the living room. There is a dedicated work space/desk if you must keep up with a little work during your visit. The kitchen has plenty of counter space and has a full-size range-oven, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator with ice maker. There is a stackable wash/dryer combo beside the fridge. There is one bedroom with a king size bed. This room has a fake corner fireplace that is also an electric heater. Bedroom 2 has two full size/regular beds, hotel style to accommodate extra guest or children. There is a half bath and a full size Jack and Jill bathroom. The front porch begs for you to relax in one of the rocking chairs and watch for wildlife. There is only a small step up to enter the home if you have mobile disabilities. The driveway is long and gravel until you reach the house. The parking area is a large solid surface. There is a regular size charcoal grill for outdoor cooking. Guest access You are able to access all of the space during your stay. The 28 acres attached to the cabin can be explored during NON hunting season months. (Feb-September) We ask that you stay on the open spaces from Oct-January. Other things to note During the warm months, which may be all of them in Louisiana, be aware of your foot placement when walking around the property. There have been a few snakes seen near the wood line.
