It’s not your typical resort destination, offering a more authentic and tranquil Maui experience. • The Private Room features a King-sized organic bed with cotton sheets, located at the rear of the house. The space is designed to be clean, clutter-free, and uses conscious cleaning products to promote a healthy environment. The property is also near towns like Paia, Makawao, Haiku, and Pukalani, where guests can find restaurants, local shops, and farmer’s markets. • Yoga & Wellness: Yoga centers and massage services are available in the area for a well-rounded wellness experience. We love the openness and privacy of our neighborhood. We also enjoy the fact that when we look out our windows we see green trees and nature. A 6 ft rock wall surrounds our property which offers complete privacy and protection from the road or passerby. We never feel exposed. A short walk around our neighborhood you will see horses, cows and goats on the properties around us. A rural setting but conveniently located to so many hikes and waterfalls. Twin falls a very popular swimming pond is 15 min away. The North Shore of Maui is the green rain forest area of the island. Maui has 27 micro climates. Please take this information into consideration when you visit the tropics. We have moisture in the air at times furnishings, linens towels can be moister than you are used to. Items do not dry as fast as your home land. But these are the elements that gives Hawaii it's beautiful landscapes ! Living on an island in the middle of the pacific presents a freedom and openness that we don't often experience on the mainland. Doors and windows are open, fresh air is abundant and we don't feel the need to be closed up inside. We enjoy bringing the outdoors in! Because we have the rock wall surrounding our property some of our windows are happily exposed! The plant life outside the windows also acts as a covering in a more natural way. When your door is closed, we respect your privacy and have no intention of entering the room without knocking or calling you name.
