Welcome to your home away from home tucked away in the woods! Featuring a big yard with a playground, a pool, trampoline, and games, Arcadia is perfect for family vacations, remote work, or a peaceful getaway. Enjoy the best of what the Hudson Valley has to offer just a short drive away: hiking at the nearby Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Preserves, apple and berry picking, visiting local wineries or enjoying a meal and shopping in one of the many local towns! The space The house is located at the end of a long driveway in a quiet community, giving you just enough privacy to enjoy the premises without hearing or seeing the neighbors, where you and your family can fully enjoy the space! You will either enter through the garage leading into the mudroom, or through the front door that opens up to the expansive foyer with the staircase leading to the second floor. The main living room has enough seating to accommodate a large group, with a Plasma TV and working fireplace. It is adjacent to a big, fully equipped open kitchen with a dining table that can seat 8 people which leads to the deck and backyard. Next to the kitchen is a more formal dining room that has French doors also leading to the deck/patio and adjacent to that is the second living room where you can find a more quiet space to read or play board games. This leads you back to the foyer where to the left when you come in is a playroom for your kids to enjoy playing with various games and toys! All four bedrooms are located on the second floor. To the left is the Master bedroom suite where you will find a king size bed and a work space with a desk overlooking the backyard and pool (closing end of September). There is a large en suite bathroom with jacuzzi bathtub, 2 sinks and a shower. Down the hall is a second bedroom to your right with a queen size bed and vanity with view on the front lawn and driveway. Further down to the left s a kids bedroom with a bunk bed that has a full mattress on the bottom and twin on the top (upper bunk is REALLY for kids only). Facing that bedroom is the second full bathroom with bathtub/shower. And that takes us to the 4th bedroom at the end of the hall with a queen bed and desk that overlooks both the back and front yards. In the back of the house, you can wine and dine on the deck overlooking the backyard that features a playground, trampoline, a fire pit and in the summer, a saltwater pool. Guest access You will have the whole house to yourself except for the basement, the master bedroom's walk-in closet and a few cabinets here and there. If there is an urgent issue that demands access to the basement (such as power outage), you can text or call us and we will let you know how to find the key. Other things to note We allow a maximum of 2 dogs for a $75 extra charge per pet per stay. We ask that you be mindful and limit them going on the furniture or on the beds in order to avoid an extra cleaning charge. You are free to use our fireplace, but please bring your own firewood
