Guests will relax in this newly constructed 600 square foot space with 10 foot ceilings and elegant large sunlit windows. Upgrades include beautiful oak hardwood flooring, well appointed kitchen and bathroom design, quartz countertops, a full walk-in shower with frameless glass surround, and stylish decor embellished with a touch of local art from some of our favorite artists. Renewable energy is a highlight with the use of solar panels and geothermal systems. Guests are guaranteed to enjoy this luxury and eco-friendly stay! 🎡THE SCISSORTAIL + MORE AMENITIES 🎡 The Scissortail is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen including assorted coffee and tea selections, a gas range stove and stainless steel appliances. Also included is a washer and dryer stackable, memory foam mattress for comfortable sleep, and a 55” HD Smart TV to complete the space. Although best suited for two, a twin air mattress is available upon request for a third guest. The space is private and located on the backside of the main home. As your hosts, we will not interact with you unless something is needed; however we are always available and love to share our favorite OKC recommendations with our guests. Guest access The Scissortail’s private entrance is a keypad entry door located on the back of the home off the alley. All on-street parking is public in the Wheeler District providing guests with easy access to their entrance. The home is situated on a corner lot allowing for perfect views of Wheeler District as well as your vehicle. Other things to note 🎡WHEELER DISTRICT & OKC🎡 Guests will enjoy all of Wheeler District’s wonderful parks, restaurants, shops, events, and venues including the Wheeler Ferris Wheel, which runs spring through fall. Access to the OKC River Trails system (walking, biking, and running with 14 miles of trails through downtown and around the city) and the public bus system is a short walk away. Highway I40 is also around the corner for fast access to all of OKC’s transport systems. Next, the OKC Streetcar is found downtown passing key landmarks and the entertainment districts of Downtown OKC, Bricktown, Midtown, Automobile Alley, Scissortail Park and more.
