Close to all Covered Bridge Festival activities. The space Creekside Cottage has a gated front entrance that shares a gravel driveway with Farmhouse. Cottage is at the front of the 40 acre property next to the creek that runs the length of the gravel driveway. Guests have access to cottage property, creek, and wooded trails leading to 2 ponds where you can catch catfish, bass and bluegill from the shoreline. Some special highlights of the property are the covered outdoor patio lounge with 6 person hot tub, TV, gas firepit and sitting area; back deck with picnic table, charcoal grill and cushioned chairs; large front lawn; outdoor creekside sitting area with swing and hammock; and indoor pool table, foosball table and dart board. Details: Cottage has open floor plan with living area, fully stocked kitchen and dining area on the main floor. 2 Bedrooms - Downstairs has King bed and upstairs loft has Queen. Both have TVs There is also a pull out sofa bed in the living room. One bathroom with stall shower and double sink Pool table and 55 inch Roku TV in living area and upstairs sitting area with foosball and dart board Washer and Dryer in laundry room – bring your own detergent and laundry supplies Cottage is furnished with everything to make your stay enjoyable: Dishes, glasses, utensils, grill tools, cookware, Keurig and regular coffeepot, blender, toaster, bath towels, bedding and starter supply of paper towels and toilet paper. Wifi throughout house Guest access You will have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property, with the exception of a locked utility closet under stairway and storage shed across from the cottage. Property includes large front lawn, front bistro table sitting area, back deck and grill, creek sitting area with hammock and wooden swing, as well as wooded trails and 2 ponds. You are welcome to wander anywhere on the property with the exception of the hilled driveway that leads up to the Farmhouse and the grassy area to the right of the uphill driveway where the Farmhouse goats are penned. Trail and Ponds: To access wooded trails and ponds, walk to the end of the gravel driveway into the wooded area and make a right at the Yogi Bear sign. You are welcome to fish in our ponds from the shoreline, but please practice catch and release. We have bass and blue gill in both ponds as well as catfish in the first pond. Please do not swim in either pond. Please do not go beyond the second pond because it borders neighboring properties and is not clearly marked. Other things to note Parking Please park in the gravel area near the back deck or across from the cottage by the storage shed. Please let us know if you are bringing your boat and trailer. Front gate entrance will be open when you arrive. Guest gate remote control will be in the cottage with your welcome booklet. Pets are not allowed and no smoking inside cottage. Please do not swim in the creek or ponds. Other: We provide bath and hot tub towels, bed linens and pillows, kitchen and bath soap, and paper goods (2 trash bags, 2 bathroom garbage bags, 2 rolls toilet paper and 2 rolls paper towels) Feel free to ask us about exploring the property and area attractions.
