Located in the heart of central Vermont, we are within an hour drive to Sugarbush, Mad River, and Bolton ski resorts, and only a 15-minute drive to snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and ice skating venues. Enjoy a walk to a local eatery, take a granite quarry tour, or simply enjoy a movie at home on the big screen TV! The space The 1000sf cabin sleeps two very comfortably, although it can accommodate up to 4. There is a queen size bed in the loft. A cot, air mattress, blankets, and pillows are located in the loft closet. The pullout sofa is on the main floor. The kitchen has a gas cooktop, electric oven, and pots and pans handy to make your favorite dishes! The large center island allows extra space for preparing meals, eating breakfast, or playing a game of cards with your loved one. The kitchen table is set for 2 but can accommodate up to 8 people. The newly finished bathroom has a full shower with double showerheads. The spacious living room has plenty of seating to enjoy a movie or sports game on the big screen television. The bedroom loft has an office area that includes a large desk for your convenience. Guest access The cabin rental includes the cabin, parking for 2 cars, front porch, and fenced in front and back yards. Although animals are currently not allowed, but we are working to see if it can be an option for the future. Inquire for more info: Guests can have access to the entire property for family gatherings, weddings, seasonal activities, bridal or baby showers, etc. A full kitchen is available to prepare meals, and the open kitchen/living area can comfortably hold up to 25 people. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: Winter weather conditions may cause: difficulty driving up Garden Street, slippery walkway, snow sliding off standing seam roofs, and moving cars around during a snowstorm can be challenging. Electric oven's child safety lock is on. Range is gas cooktop - no child safety lock. Water is town water - although safe, it is hard water and leaves lime stains. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are hardwired, and there is a fire extinguisher available. Power outage - if power goes out for an extended period of time, a generator will be made available. Basement workshop is not available - please keep hatch door closed. Please remove boots and shoes upon entry. Enjoy your latest adventure!
