Driftwood Lodge is nestled among the trees by the Meramec River. The house has a rustic feel to it, but has all the modern necessities one would need to feel at home, including a new kitchen and DirectTV in its two dens. Linens, towels, and kitchenware provided, as well as a washer and dryer in the house at no additional charge. We are pet friendly but do charge a $50 pet fee per stay. We have added free WiFi for our guests to be able to have a working vacation if they choose. The space Three of the bedrooms look out into the river bottom that leads to the Meramec river, and two of the bedrooms share a covered deck, perfect to enjoy morning coffee and a crossword. The larger bedroom has a king size bed and its own bathroom, and is steps away from a large covered deck with a seating area. There is ample room outdoors for grilling, sitting around the fire ring, a game of washers, or just to enjoy nature. Guest access We encourage exploring the wonders of the Meramec and the river bottom. Just please be conscientious of nature's friends and any other guests: nothing too loud and please pick up after yourself (no trash is good trash). Other things to note There may be firewood on premise, we just ask for $5.00 per armload. There is also a large charcoal grill but we do not provide charcoal or lighter fluid. Please notify us if you are bringing a pet. We do charge one $50 pet fee per stay.
