The space This is a wonderful place to get away from it all and experience the adventure! When you are done skiing and snow machine riding or visiting the dog sled or reindeer come sit out on the deck with a fire and hot chocolate! Your room has a lot of extra amenities for your enjoyment; a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, Roku TV, Keurig, brand new bedding and mattress cover. You will have access the barbeque, greenhouse and yards, all fenced, pets are welcomed as long as they are friendly and play nice with others. You may use the kitchen or come out and watch TV, enjoy our living/dining room, washer/ dryer. We are very friendly and want you to enjoy your stay! Kara is an executive chef and tries to cook for our guest at least once while you are here! Guest access Two blocks from the home are a selection of restaurants! Subway, Burrito Heaven, Hamburger House, Papa John, Sunday's, a pho noodle house, a wing place and more. We recommend Kavas less than 2 miles away, they have good food, excellent portions and good prices for Alaska and those visiting experiencing "sticker shock!" There are several close grocery stores, gas stations, post office. Anything you want to do, need help understanding or want to find...we are here to help! We know Alaska! During your stay You will most likely have the place to yourself a lot of the time. We are very busy, especially in the summertime. We are happy to answer any questions you have and will be delighted to tell you all about Alaska and Anchorage when we are home. Please ask us anything, we know Alaska very well. Other things to note We go out of our way to try our very best to make you feel comfortable. We want to know if there is anything else you think should be added to the room and what we can help you with. In the past we have given rides, taken tours, flown in airplanes, gone to the movies, made dinners for, camp fires for, entertained in general and spent up to 8 hours being tour guides for our guests that wanted or needed it! We now also offer the ability to book a massage with a massage therapist right here at Cozy Alaskan Home! Please feel free to be pampered while also exploring Alaska right here in our home!
