Almarlene House sits in an acre of lawns and mature trees with a stunning sea view to the front. To the rear is a large pool, fruit tree garden and hillside views. It's in a quiet residential neighborhood and is ideally located a 2 minute walk to the main road where buses are frequent. It's a 10 minute car ride to the city of Castries or a 10 minute drive to Rodney Bay and historic Pigeon Island with beaches, shopping malls, many restaurants and bars, a casino and yachting marina. The space Almarlene House is in a quiet residential area in Marisule, quarter of Gros- Islet. It's next door to Choc Bay and is ideally located for the amenities and activities in Castries to the south and Rodney Bay to the north. The Marisule quarter itself has much to offer, with waterfront dining , hotel amenities, smaller beaches, local cuisine and a heritage and culinary experience on the doorstep! Just 10 minutes away to the north, is Rodney Bay with all its amenities, water sports, horse riding and more, historic Pigeon Island and the highly rated golf courses in Cap Estate. Ten minutes to the south is the city of Castries, the gateway to the rest of the island's western and eastern coasts, rain forests and world famous attractions ( incl. the Pitons, Sulphur Springs and Botanical Gardens) in the town of Soufriere. The house is a 4 bedroom 4 bathroom single story property with a large pool and front and rear patios. The property is completely fenced with a gently rolling lawn at the front, an ideal outdoor space to observe the sun sets. The entire property is wrapped by a foot path with additional pathways from the patio to pool area. There is a covered garage with direct access to both the bedroom wing and dining/kitchen wing and room for an additional car in the driveway. The rear patio has a built-in bar and seated areas including an outdoor dining area, ideal for barbecues as there is access to an outdoor grill. The house is airy with lots of windows and glass doors in the main living space giving lots of natural light. It has a touch of tradition yet is fully modernized. There are a few furniture pieces original to the house and designed and crafted by local craftsmen with local wood varieties. The living and dining spaces are airy and both have access to the patio with the living area having a ceiling fan and ,cable TV. Views of the sea and mountains can be enjoyed from the living room facing from the front and rear respectively . There is a large bright and modern kitchen with updated appliances, breakfast bar, separate utility ( washing machine and dryer) and pantry area. The half bath (toilet, sink and shower) is located to the rear of the kitchen and utility, an accessible bathroom away from the main accommodation. The entire house is wired for 240 v and 110 v. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 masters with en-suite bathrooms and all rooms have air conditioning units, mosquito nets and wardrobes with overhead storage and drawers. There are additional linen cupboards and storage in the hallway. The bedrooms have rear access to the patio and pool areas. The pool itself is surrounded by shrubs and mature trees. It has a graded depth starting at 4 feet and ending at 12 feet, deep enough for a diving board. There are a variety of fruit trees in the garden and in season, you can pick your own and enjoy the varieties including mangoes, papayas, soursop, cherries and plums. Guest access The entire property (house, gardens and pool) is available exclusively to guests. Other things to note The pool is cleaned and maintained twice weekly and the pool cleaner has his own key for the gate. Should you require use of the pool when he turns up, he will be able to rearrange a time that is convenient to you.
