Trinity Studio Apt +Queen Bed & Kitchen
My place is perfectly located on the West Coast in between both Mullins and Gibbs' beaches, a few minutes bus ride or drive to Speightstown where you will find a grocery store, restaurants and fun. You’ll love my place because of the big comfy bed, the cool Air Conditioning, wifi, and the kitchen will help you save money by cooking in the apartment, or just keep your beer cold!. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The space This space is cozy and comfortable and has lots of room for a studio. A simple and great spot to launch your adventures in Barbados from. Go out all day and have fun and come back here and relax. The apartment has a solid wifi connection, air conditioning and it opens up to our lush back gardens. We have a fully equipped kitchen with stove, fridge, and coffee maker. There is a TV with cable-tv access if you want to just lay in bed. Shower the salt off your body after a day on the beach, stretch out on the bed in the Air Conditioning for a nap, or relax on the back patio and fall asleep listening to the birds. The apartment is on the back of our family's land so you're set far back from the road and should expect not to hear the road. There is a dog that lives next door and it's possible that you'll hear her from time to time. 5mins walk to the South brings you to Gibbes' Beach, a quiet and easy beach for locals. You won't find a restaurant or hotel here, just tranquility, sand and the blue sea. 5mins walk to the North brings you to Mullin's Beach, well appointed with chairs & umbrellas to rent, there's a kids' play platform in the sea, watersports rentals and a great bar/restaurant that also does live music some nights. If you've got a busy family this is a great spot. 5mins drive North of the apartment you'll find Speightstown with restaurants, bars, shopping, a grocery store, banking and even fast food! If you keep going a little bit you'll run across a fishing village that has a low-key version of a fish-fry every friday night. It's a great spot! Hairdryer, linens, bath towels, and beach towels are provided. Guest access Guests has the run of the private apartment and a large patio space attached to the back yard and garden. The patio is usually pretty breezy (depending!) and well shaded thanks to our large mango tree. If you see ripe fruit on the tree, or passion fruits on the vines feel free to enjoy them! You have access to the garden and backyard and free parking steps from your door. Guests have access to the laundry room if you need to clean some clothes. Other things to note There is a housekeeper that comes each week, Dionne is really sweet and you'll enjoy meeting her. There is also a gardener who may be about but will try not to disturb you or intrude. Smoking is allowed on the patio only. Please shut the door/window to the apartment to prevent smoke from going inside please. Critters are a part of Caribbean living, there is always a possibility you will run into a cockroach, rat, mouse, lizard, centipede or a mango-theiving-monkey. This doesn't indicate the house/restaurant/bar is dirty, the climate is warm and these animals and insects thrive in the entire region. Don't freak out! Have a rum :-) There are other properties available on the estate so please enquire if you have a large party that needs to be accommodated just ask! Hot water coming through the taps in Barbados is powered by the sun. This means on rainy days or days when 4 people have hot steamy showers you may be out of luck! This is the case across the Caribbean not just with us. Please do not leave the Air Conditioning on if you are not in the apartment. Electricity is extremely expensive and it only takes 5mins to cool the place down. Please remember to turn it off thank you!
