This spacious and lovely home is located within a walled complex of three homes total, surrounded by beautiful gardens. When you are here you will feel like you are in your own little oasis away from everything, but still conveniently located very close to downtown. This 3 bedroom home has a large kitchen, dining room, office area, living room, garden level patio, balcony and large rooftop terrace for sunbathing or having sundowners. The surrounding lush garden makes it feel like a real getaway! The space This house is our family home most of the year, which we rent when we are away. So please note that we will be sharing our lovely space with you. The house sleeps 7 people comfortably in three air-conditioned bedrooms with ensuite, plus one additional small bedroom that sleeps one person (no A/C in this one). The house has a large kitchen that was very recently renovated with everything you need to prepare your meals, a separate dining room, a character living room with rock walls and high ceilings, and cute kids area. Relax on the front patio where you can enjoy the beautiful garden or have a bbq, or take a nap on the hammock on the second floor balcony, or sunbathe on the rooftop terrace. The house is just a short walk to downtown Puerto Ayora and very near the entrance to the trail that takes you to the stunning Tortuga Bay Beach. The walk to the beach along the trail takes approx 30 min, but well worth it! The house has a total of four bedrooms: The master room is located on the second floor, has a king sized bed, and an attached full bathroom with shower and tub. The room has an individually controlled split AC unit. The second rooms is located upstairs, has two single beds, an attached full bathroom with shower. The room has an individually controlled split AC unit. The third upstairs bedroom is a small extra room, with a single bed, and a standing fan. The fourth bedroom is located on the first floor, it has a queen sized bed, an attached full bathroom with shower, and a window AC unit. All the showers have both hot and cold water. There is an extra guest bathroom accessed from the downstairs hallway which also has a shower. The house has free internet (but can be quite slow, this is Galapagos after all), a tv with a dvd player, washer and dryer, and a land line that can be used for local calls or to receive international calls. The house is ideal for families, friends, and for couples who wish to have a bit more space for themselves. All ages welcome! Guest access The guests have access to the entire house.
