A-frame cabin with open floor layout (no private bedrooms) near the base of Alyeska Ski Resort. The house is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of many Girdwood attractions. Easy access to hiking trails, the ski resort, many nearby restaurants, and the Girdwood Brewing Company. Pets allowed on approval. There is no Wi-Fi on the property, but there is cell coverage. The space Open floor layout (no separate bedrooms). Living room and kitchen downstairs. Full sized murphy bed is also on the main floor. Upstairs has a full sized futon and a queen sized bed. There is also a full sized air mattress available on site and there is space for it by the main bed upstairs. Cozy set-up. I like it because I don't feel it is too big when I go up solo or with my partner. However, it is also big enough that I have been able to host overnight stays with a group if we are all close and are okay that the sleeping quarters will get pretty tight. I have a pack n' play so that you do not need to bring one from home (located behind the upstairs futon). There are mattress pads on site that you can use for the futon or air mattress if they are not comfortable enough for you. There is also a dog bed in the cabin so you do not need to bring your own.
