The shuttle to Panajachel takes approximately three-quarters of an hour and the last public boat from Panajachel to our home leaves at 6 p.m. If there are road traffic delays, guests arriving on afternoon flights will not come until nighttime. We cannot accept check-ins until 6 p.m.; in that case, we'll welcome you the following morning. For departures, we recommend booking late afternoon flights from Guatemala City to ensure that guests don't feel rushed during their stay at the lake. We are happy to store your takeout in our fridge and set up a table for you on the beach. We do not allow overnight visitors, friends, messages other than ours, and drones or commercial photographers and photography taken under the penalty of $2000 except previous arrangements and approval of the management. Restaurants and shops are within an easy walk, short tuk-tuk, or boat ride. We don't spray chemicals, and you are located in raw nature; some harmless spiders or black scorpions can sometimes be seen.
