Welcome to Puerto Rico! Our Casona is located on the west coast of Puerto Rico; between the villages of Aguada and Rincón. This is one of the five cozy apartments in our guest house. You will enjoy with us our excellent swimming pool area, forest, private museum and our small cocoa cultivation where we give the Cacao Tour. Just minutes away you will find the best beaches and tourist attractions in the region. We want you to live in Boricua! The space Our private apartment provides a relaxing, tropical and Caribbean atmosphere. It is located on the first level of the Casona. The apartment is decorated with a minimalist but complete touch. Always thinking about our guests having everything you need for a wonderful and confortable stay. Our decor is made for you to feel like you have arrived at your tropical home in the Caribbean. The house where the apartment is located was built in the middle of the 20th century. It's one of the oldest wooden and concrete houses in our community. Formerly in its surroundings sugarcane was grown; but today we have a small cacao crop and fruit trees. The Apartamento has 2 "Full" beds, private bathroom, air conditioning, equipped mini kitchen, dining room, towels, linens, terrace, toiletries and free wifi. We also have a smat TV with built-in wifi. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, sink, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, kitchen appliances, plates, cups, silverware, glasses and everything you need so you can prepare your own meals before or after exploring. We have an information table; where you will find information and brochures about the best restaurants, beaches, waterfalls, waterfalls, agrotours, agrotours, museums, parks and all the places to visit near us. We have a garden, small forest and great shared pool area. In front of the pool you will see an area with chairs, tables and umbrellas. You will also find the gacebo with grill and the swimming shower and bathroom area of the swimming. There are two additional gazebos with hammocks to enjoy the outdoors while relaxing. We have private parking on the property. Our small private forest is our best place to be in touch with nature. The small forest has more than 300 trees where you can walk the different trails we did. You will find signs with information about our biodiversity, you will see hammocks all over the forest, fire area and fish ponds. The forest is perfect for bird watching, connecting with nature, and yoga. Inside the forest is our small Cacao crop. Over 100 cacao trees that produce the raw material to make our chocolate tablets. Stay with us and enjoy paradise! Guest access We have high-speed Wi-Fi; Perfect for watching Netflix, studying, or working. We provide towels, shower supplies, toilet paper, and garbage bags. If you need more of these resources during your stay, don't hesitate to check with us. The bathroom is fully equipped but small. Not suitable for people with disabilities or large size. The studio has two comfortable "full" beds, desk, trunk, closet, drawer, night table and TV. The fully equipped kitchen is with all the apartments so you can cook your favorite meals. We always have coffee available for our guests in the apartment. In the courtyard it has three comfortable gazebo, a grill and fire pit area in our forest. We have all the equipment to make your BBQ except charcoal. This must be purchased by you. We have a disabled ramp in the pool area. The pool has an area with a variety of tables and chairs. It has spaces to put the towel and have a delicious sunbath. It also has its own shower and bathroom area. The pool can be used at anytime. You will see in the room listed museums, parks, taxis, forests, agrotours, beaches, restaurants and all the places to visit near us. We are in a great location between the towns of Aguada, Rincon and Aguadilla. Therefore, we are the ideal place for surfers and adventurers who love to explore our island. The beaches of all the municipalities in the northwest are equidistant from us. So driving between 6 and 15 minutes you will find very nice paradisiacal beaches. We also have free private parking. Don't forget to sit down, have a coffee, or read a book in the gacebo of our private forest! Other things to note Experiences at Casa Azul. We have a variety of activities that you can carry out in coordination with us that will make your stay a unique and fun one. Tour del Cacao. In our House we grow cacao where we produce artisanal chocolate. The Cacao tour is an hour-long tour. Your availability will depend on the harvest season and being notified in advance. The schedule is coordinated directly with you during your stay. Cost: $20/person. We learn about the history, cultivation, and processing of cacao and include a tasting of our artisanal chocolate. Visit our private museum. I am a certified tour guide and historian and as a part of our offer we have the visit to our private museum. The visit is 35 minutes long and includes a 5-room tour of antique, art, and carvings that tell the story of the villages of western Puerto Rico. Cost: $5 per person. Tour of Aguada. The tour is 2 hours long. We explored some of the town of Aguada's iconic landmarks while strolling through the historic center. Cost: 25 per person. Casa Azul's rules. Each space has a maximum guest number. Additional guests who are not notified will be charged an additional $25 per person per night charge an additional charge of $25 per person per night. Smoking is not allowed inside the house or in the rooms. We have an outdoor smoking area. Smoking inside the house will generate a $100 cleaning fee to remove odor. Pets are not allowed on the property, except those that are for service. If you bring pets, there will be a pet fee of $35. We have a water tank and electric generator in the house for your comfort. The pool can be used at anytime. Please do not eat or drink in the pool. Do not run or dive into the pool. In the pool area there is an outdoor shower that can be used to wash sand in case you come from the beach. Check-in will always be at 4:00 pm If you need to check in earlier, you'll need to let us know in advance and it will be subject to availability of your space. Late check out. The check out is at 12 noon or earlier. Late check-out must be notified in advance and will be subject to availability of space. An additional fee of $15 will be charged for each additional hour after 12 noon. The home is exclusively for guests. No strangers or visitors are not allowed inside the premises of Casa Azul other than guests or employees of Casa Azul. No loud noises, shouting, and loud music at night. This is for the benefit of all guests and the community. If you're going to use our fire pit area or use the grill, remember to turn it off after use and throw the ashes in the nearest trash can. Guests must purchase charcoal. Only Casa Azul guests can use the pool area. Our staff is always ready to help.
