Three walls of 8-feet-high, oversized sliding glass doors in the great room allow for incredible indoor-outdoor living, with seamless transitions to 6 oversized, multilevel decks furnished with teak furniture with plush cushions and pillows, hammocks, hanging rope chairs, a sun bed, and beautiful Caribbean flowers and plants thoughtfully placed to create intimate exterior gathering areas, each with incredible water views and its own feel. The gourmet kitchen, with oversized cabinets, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, large kitchen island with seating, wine fridge, and coffee bar, is fully equipped for those who wish to cook, but if cooking is not on the agenda, the villa offers a cook for hire who prepares and serves delicious Caribbean meals at the villa. The villa is a thoughtful combination of quintessentially-Caribbean design details and elements, such as vaulted wood-slat ceilings, bamboo ceiling fans, and open-air living spaces, and all of the luxury and attention to detail the discerning traveler would expect: high-end furniture and furnishings, high-thread-count bed sheets, alternative-down bed comforters, turkish bath towels, fully-stocked baths, stocked coffee bar (single-serve, traditional coffee pot and French Press all provided), blackout bedroom shades, oversized beach towels, heated and illuminated pool, full-service housekeeping/gardening/pool cleaning services, and use of a full-service, concierge property manager whose sole goal is to ensure that every detail of your stay, from beginning to end, from on-island transportation to tour and restaurant reservations, is as you want it. There are 5 spacious bedrooms with king or queen beds, private full baths, air-conditioning, bamboo ceiling fans, blackout shades, oversized closets with robes, wall-hung televisions, and amazing water views, and two of the bedrooms also have beverage refrigerators. One of the villa's 6 decks has a BBQ for grilling, and there are 4 oversized dining tables on 4 different decks, plus a high-top bistro table, for outdoor meals, coffee, and drinks in addition to the large indoor dining table and kitchen island seating. The oversized pool deck has 8 cushioned teak chaise lounges, a large sunbed with shade cover, 2 hanging rope chairs, and a dining table, and it provides a gorgeous view of Marigot Bay, Marigot Bay Beach, the yachts and tour boats coming into the bay, the almost-daily full rainbows across the bay, the Caribbean Sea, the island of Martinique, and sunrise. Sunset over the Caribbean Sea is seen from the other side of the villa on the "Sunset Deck" as named by previous guests who gathered there nightly to enjoy an adult beverage while watching the incredible sunsets. There is an outdoor shower, private off-street parking, privacy gate, library of St. Lucia and other books, collection of family and adult board/card games, a large laundry area with full-size washer and dryer, and an additional full bathroom and half bathroom (in addition to the 5 en suite baths). Additional services available at an extra cost include daily housekeeping (every other day housekeeping is included in the rental fee), stocking the refrigerator for your arrival, a professional driver, the cook, a masseuse to give you a relaxing massage on one of the villa's decks, and a yoga instructor. Marigot Bay Beach is a 3-minute drive (10-minute walk) down the road into the quaint village of Marigot Bay, and then a 2-minute water taxi ride across the bay. The beach has swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Rolland Beach, replete with a rock from which locals and many visitors like to jump into the Caribbean Sea, is also a 3-minute drive or 10-minute walk from the villa. There are numerous restaurants and bars, as well as a couple of street craft vendors, a small market, and a coffee shop, in the village of Marigot Bay (3-minute drive, or 10-minute walk, from the villa). Guest access Guests will have exclusive access to, and use of, the entire villa. Other things to note Because of its location at the top of the southern ridge of Marigot Bay overlooking the water, there are steps up and down from the villa, there are decks at different levels on the property, and there are two floors connected by a custom-made, spiral staircase. There is no lifeguard provided for the pool, and no smoking or candles are permitted on the property. Once guests have reserved the villa and it is a few months out from their stay, they are provided with the property manager's email address, so they can communicate directly with him regarding on-island trip wants and needs they may have, and he is happy to assist with those needs. The cook who many guests book to prepare a meal for them at the villa sets her own pricing based specifically on what cooking services the guests desire, but guests can estimate between $20-22 USD per person plus the cost of groceries and a small service fee for shopping for the groceries for a 3-course, Caribbean-inspired meal prepared and served at the villa. The cost for transportation by a professional transportation company is set by the company based on the size vehicle they need to use (which is based on the size of the group being transported), how far away they are driving the group, and how long they need to wait at the location to drive the group back to the villa.
