The space The 3 bedroom house is totally equipped for a group vacation or for a couple getting away from it all. Huge windows face the Lake Superior shore along the Keweenaw Peninsula in Upper Michigan. The view over our 1,200 feet of shoreline is always spectacular. Over 70 acres are at your disposal for riding on trails, water activities or sight seeing along the coast. We can handle events like parties, weddings, picnics, fund raisers, and so on. We are one mile from Gay, Michigan where the Gay Bar serves food and tasty beverages. All seasons are ready for you. Fish here. Ski and Ride here. Rest here. Our site is a wonderful place to spend your vacation. Guest access The entire house is for you. Three large private bedrooms with new queens, plus a futon, provide the sleeping spaces. One huge bathroom with a deluxe 5 foot step-in shower will make you feel royal. The house is all one level, no stairs inside. There are 3 steps up to enter. The deck is enormous. It spans across the entire front of the house, with space for sitting, eating, and BBQing all day long. There is a fire pit on the side of the house. Plenty of chairs and wood. The space is great for gathering, stories, and s’mores. And Nature's beauty will inspire you with her rustic side as you explore rivers, parks, mountains and harbors. History, hiking, shops and food abound on the gorgeous Keweenaw Peninsula. We provide maps and info at the house for your perusal. We are available 24/7 to answer questions and help with any interests you have. The physical address is one mile out of Gay, MI, at: 1180 Gay - Lac LaBelle Rd. Google maps has us in the nav using the name of Dockside Resort. The mail address is about 12 miles from our actual locale, in Lake Linden, MI, 49945. You will drive through LL on the way to our site, on the shore of Lake Superior. Other things to note In the winter the snowmobile trail runs right into our drive way. So the handy location is perfect for sledders after they ride over the river and through the woods. The entry porch has room for your gear, hooks and a fab bench. It is a super thick slab of solid wood with a live edge to use When you kick off the boots and head for the relaxing part of your vacation. For ATV fans our resort is the trail head. Parking for trailers is plentiful and handy, near the trail. We have 2 kayaks with life jackets for guests to use. It is easy in and out using the launch at the dock. We also provide 2 fat tire bicycles suitable for adults or youthful riders from about pre-teen age or so. The wild life is abundant. Beside friendly deer, rabbits, foxes, and the like, we also have active hunting by eagles and birds of prey. It is a good spot for birders. Fishing off the dock is a favorite for many of our regular guests. We also have a boat launch on site, which is very convenient for those who love to fish in the big waters of Lake Superior.
