Welcome to the Oceanside Cabanas in Plantation. Our beach property consists of (2) 600 sq. ft. studio cabanas, just TEN STEPS from the ocean. Our home (not a hotel) is perfect for TWO couples, a family of 4, or four friends, looking to share the property (while still having their very own beach cabana) while exploring this part of Belize. We are mainly popular with guests seeking water/fishing and jungle activities who prefer staying at private property instead of a hotel. The space Our beach property comprises of 2 BEACH-FRONT studios (North and South cabanas) and a common covered deck with lagoon and beach views, in the Plantation-Maya Beach area. Each cabana/studio is approx. 600 sq. ft. 20 ft. tall wood ceilings.  Both floor and ceilings are made of local woods, hand-crafted in a traditional Belizean style.  The corner to corner panel-glass doors completely opens each studio to the beach, providing indoor-outdoor living Caribbean experience.    KING beds & bedding: Each cabana has been set up with SUPER COMFORTABLE PILLOW TOP MATTRESSES for incredible comfort and a great night sleep! The  North Cabana has been fitted with a King size canopy bed.  The South cabana is a bit more flexible and can easily and comfortably accommodate either a couple with a King size bed or 2 single friends/family members, who wish to have their own comfortable bed.    *SOUTH CABANA *FLEXIBLE SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS * KING or 2 SINGLE BEDS If your staying in the South cabana, let us know your preferred sleeping arrangements, we can set up the bed as a KING or 2 SINGLES.  The bed(s) overlook the ocean, so you can wake up to the sun rising over the beach. When closed, each cabana is fitted with an A/C unit, even though there are windows providing cross-ventilation and cooling the cabanas (within 10 min time) . EACH cabana has its OWN RANGE w/ OVEN (perfect for cooking for 2-4 people) *NO GRILL at this time* due to potential high wind conditions* FULL KITCHEN: Each cabana has its own full kitchen, and they were designed to overlook the beautiful Caribbean & palm trees on the beach, while preparing a meal or coffee on the large quartz counter top.  They are fitted with stainless steel appliances, microwave, toaster, French press, blender, electric tea pot and stocked with pans/utensils/plates, allowing you to prepare your own meals, (if you choose to skip going to the different restaurants down the road).  Each cabana has its own full bathroom with a marble counter top, a local  custom made vanity and the bathroom shower floor tile is made from Mexican river stones.   600 sq. ft. COVERED DECK: The common covered wood deck is close to 600 sq. ft. of covered outdoor living space~ and it’s 70 feet across between each cabana, linking and providing privacy between both cabanas.   There is a large outdoor table overlooking the ocean, on one side and the lagoon on the other, so we don't ever have to miss a sunset or a sunrise!  *THE PROPERTY IS *NON-SMOKING *OF ANY KIND* (we will keep full deposit if evidence of ANY smoke) *NO TV*WE HAVE FAST WIFI AND GREAT INTERNET CONNECTION* OUR PROPERTY and STUDIO CABANAS ARE PERFECT FOR MAX. 4 *ADULTS-ONLY* (not child proof/no railings) Couples, romantic trips, honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays, " Need to get away " trips. We are NOT a hotel or a resort. We do NOT offer hotel amenities. What we DO offer is our private beach house, that we built in 2018 with a lot of love. We can recommend chefs that can prepare meals at the property, a massage company that will come to the house, cultural tours, and fishing guides that can come pick you up with their boat right from our beach (weather permitting). Our dedicated local, small property management company is not a corporation or a chain and we like it that way. Our home (again, not a hotel) is perfect for those guests looking to explore Belize activities, and we are mainly popular with guests seeking water/fishing and jungle activities who prefer the privacy of staying at a home, instead of a hotel or resort. LOCATION: We are located in Plantation, in a residential/resort area about 20 minutes drive North of Placencia Airport and 30 minutes from the (not so sleepy Placencia Village). We are located in the narrowest part of the peninsula, and if you look at our location/map, you will see that our home is close to the road (the only road) that runs along the (entire beach) and lagoon. We are 2.5 Hours drive from Belize City Airport. Our home is “close... but not too close...” to resorts and hotel amenities. Because we are conveniently located in a resort area, our guests can still enjoy hotel amenities without staying at a hotel, (because, again, remember we are not a hotel). DISCLAIMER - When you make your final payment for your stay at the OCEANSIDE CABANAS LLC, you are agreeing to follow the house rental agreement, Manual, Rules and Policies, CK-in and Ck-out process. You further agree to follow local rules and to use the Internet for ethical and legal purposes only. You further agree to pay for any damages incurred above the deposit collected. You agree to release the Oceanside Cabanas LLC and its owners, from any liability or damages caused by accidents to any and all guests and daily visitors, inside and around the property, that could occur during your stay. PLS NOTE: On a rare occasion, our home may not be a fit for guests who are expecting 1st world hotel amenities in a 3rd world developing country like Belize (remember, this is our private home that we enjoy sharing with our visiting guests). We encourage all our guests to become educated on the country of Belize, and be AWARE of tropical environments, ocean living conditions, and 3rd world countries dynamics, tropical mosquitos, bugs, unpredictable weather, power outages, etc. and if we feel that we cannot accommodate your requests, and your better suited to stay at a hotel, we DO reserve the right to cancel your reservation.
