Host requests 3-night minimum stay from May 20 until September 4, 2025. The space This spacious home has two levels. The top floor Master bedroom (the light-blue room) has a breath-taking lake view, walk-in closet, and full bath with a tub and shower combo. A comfortable desk complements this room for anyone needing that extra work space. In the walk-in closet there is a full-sized crib and diaper changer (all necessary bedding and linens are provided). A Pack-n-Play and other baby supplies are always available within the home. On the same level and near the Master bedroom is a full-size washer and dryer. A second bedroom/office (the navy room) is also located on the top floor. A twin daybed with a twin trundle bed enhances the number of family members this home can comfortably accommodate. The desk in this room provides that working quiet-place while the kids are off at Arnolds Park or playing in the lake. Immediately adjacent to this bedroom is a second bath, which has a shower and full lavatory accommodations. Both baths on the top level have safety bars for additional personal mobility assistance. The Living Room, Dining Room and Kitchen area is spacious with seating for everyone with the added beauty of a spectacular view of the lake from almost any location. A Smart-TV (streaming only) and plenty of books and games, located in the Living Room will provide enjoyment for everyone. The extra-large Dining Room table comfortably seats 8 and there are 4 stools at the counter for additional friends and family, for that quick snack. A highchair and booster meal seat are provided in order to accommodate the younger members of the family. Immediately outside of the Living - Dining Room area is a large deck area for dining or relaxing. The Lake Level, down the stairs, has a large family room with a microwave, a game table and comfortable seating for everyone. Have your own Ping-Pong tournament to add to your vacation memories. A second television (streaming only) is located in this family room. A large 3rd bedroom (orange room) is located on this level. This room has a queen bed and a view of the lake. The walk-in closet in this room has a toddler bed (with complete bedding). A 4th bedroom (green room) has a queen bed, and twin-over-full bunk bed, thus providing several sleeping options. The third full-bathroom is located on this level, containing a shower and full lavatory accommodations. All bedrooms have dark-out curtains. Fishing (including ice fishing), kayaking, canoeing, swimming, water-skiing, sailing are all recreational opportunities at Center Lake as well the the entire Great Lakes region. There are 2 adult kayaks available for your private use and a number of life jackets for adults and children. Don’t worry, beach towels are proved. You have your own private dock. The Public Boat launch-ramp (with plenty of parking) is easily accessible from this fantastic home and is located across the lake. There is no watercraft rental facilities on Center Lake. There are rental facilities on the Greater Okoboji lakes, about 5 miles away. Guest access Guests have access to entire home. Sorry: Hosts do not allow pets. Center Lake is a quiet lake nestled between the Greater Okoboji lakes and Spirit Lake. A unique aspect of Center Lake is that the entire western shoreline is Iowa Dept. of Natural Resources land. This optimizes the splendor of the beautiful views from this home. At its maximum depth, Center Lake is 17 ft. deep which allows for a variety of recreational activities. The unique quietness of this lake allows you to enjoy your water recreation activities without the boat traffic which characterize other lakes in the region. The quiet aspect of Center Lake lends itself to a wide variety of wildlife, including pelicans, turkeys, geese, swans and bald eagles. This lake is within 10 miles of the amazing life that is unique to the Iowa Great Lakes region, which include the Okoboji Lakes, Arnolds Park Amusement Center, and Big Spirit Lake. The local Walmart is only one mile away and the Hy-Vee grocery store is two miles from this special home. A very short walk or bike ride provides easy access to the Goodies Candy Store or the Black Earth Java Coffee Shop for a delicious cup of coffee or snack. A short two-block walk within the subdivision is a quiet city park, with a children’s playground, ball field, picnic tables, grills, and restroom facilities.
