Rivers Edge Cottage offers one spacious bedroom with a king size Brooklyn aurora cooling bed. A queen sofa bed. Full bathroom. Full kitchen. Coffee bar. Washer and dryer. Refrigerator and freezer. Gas stove. Heating and air conditioning. (There is no television) KDS high speed fiber optic Internet. The space Rivers edge cottage was built in 2020. All new appliances. Well water that runs through a filtration system and softener. The Missouri River is viewable from every window in the cottage. Sunsets and sunrises are breathtaking. Don’t be surprised if you hear coyotes howling in the distance during the night. Bald Eagles, Golden Eagles, deer, and wild turkeys, rabbits, foxes and other animals are a common sight. Some of the turkeys will eat from your hand. Please keep in mind that you are in the country. And although we do our best to keep insects away they do occasionally slip by. Please let us know if you see any of these and we will do our best to take care of it. But please enjoy the wildlife and the views and relax in this rare setting at Rivers Edge Cottage. Guest access The cottage, the fenced yard, and the parking in front of the cottage is fully accessible to guests. The garage connected to the cottage is not accessible to guests and we ask that guests park by the front door and not the back garage. We are a dog friendly listing with a $100 fee per dog and although our cleaners do a great job, it is impossible to remove all traces of animals. Please take this into consideration when considering our property. By booking, you agree that no compensation be offered, or paid if you choose to stay. All dogs must be on a leash outside of the fenced yard. You are welcome to walk down to the River to fish or just take in the spectacular views. But please be cautious that there is a 20 foot drop to the river. If you are good at casting a fishing pole, then please keep your current fishing license handy. As fish and game regularly patrol the river by boat. Trout, walleye, pike, perch are all commonly found in the Missouri River. Good luck 🎣 and stay safe.
