Fresh Breeze Inn with Ocean View
The Inn is situated on top of a hill in a beautiful neighborhood with stone walls, decorative gardens, and pleasant neighbors. The main floor apartment has its own entrance, a full kitchen, and mosquito screens. We have a nice afternoon breeze, a shaded tiled roof with incredible views, a comfortable queen bed and spare bed. The owner, Lance, lives on the second floor and is very knowledgeable about local trails, shopping, transportation options, gear and boat rentals, etc. The space The rooftop patio has incredible views. Behind the inn is a tropical garden. The front patio has a gas BBQ. There is a digitally programmable wall safe in the apartment. All of the water in the Inn is safe to drink because of an ultraviolet light and water purification system at the Inn. The apartment has a full kitchen, and a comfortable queen-sized mattress makes you feel right at home. There is also a spare bed. Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards are provided. Lance, your in-house host, is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The apartment rents for a minimum of a week and rents for the price listed below on this site. There is a special 30% discount, not shown below, between November 1 and December 19. The Fresh Breeze Inn is contemporary and clean, invitingly decorated in colorful Mexican tiles, a hand-painted ceramic sink and fully-screened windows and patio doors. Although rarely needed during high season, there is a ventilation fan system. The queen bed has a high-quality mattress, so you will sleep soundly after a day of adventuring or relaxing, secluded from the bustle and dust of the town center. There is also a spare bed. The garden area adjoining the jungle is a great place to sit and enjoy the cool breeze and shade in the afternoons. It features local fruits, flowers and tropical plants. Your kitchen comes stocked with fresh-ground regional coffee, purified drinking water, cooking supplies such as salt, pepper, oil, sugar, and a full array utensils. Sip a cool mojito, sit back and enjoy the perfect small-town Mexican beach experience. The rooftop is tiled and has lounges, chairs and a table with an umbrella and is available to guests. The rooftop gives an incredible panoramic view of the ocean with crashing waves jungle and mountains as well as the picturesque village below. Your American host, Lance Thorne, lives on site and loves to share his extensive knowledge of the region's hiking trail, bird watching sites, local restaurants, fishing opportunities, available tours, markets and shopping, banking services and regional transportation. Maps are available for Chacala and the neighboring larger inland town Las Varas listing the relevant businesses and points of interest. He also have hiking trail maps that he has made for the area. At the Fresh Breeze Inn, you enjoy the quiet privacy and comfort of a fully-contained suite with its own entrance, as well as the assistance of a helpful English-speaking host happy to answer your questions about the region. Colectivos (shared van taxis) run between Chacala and Las Varas, where there is a bank, larger grocery stores, and access to buses going anywhere in Mexico. The price is about one dollar each way.... Guests have access to the rooftop patio that has lounge chairs, umbrellas and regular chairs. There is a stunning view from up there. Guests also have access to the tropical garden that includes a barbecue. I have maps, which I made, of all the trails, as well as businesses for Chacala & neighboring Las Varas I am a real hands-on host. I live on the second floor. I am generally available with suggestions for destinations, and I occasionally provide the transportation. My neighborhood has lots of natural rock walls with flowering gardens and it affords great views of the sea and pueblo below. We are also right on the edge of the Jungle! It is a quiet neighborhood on a dead end road with a 7 minute walk to the beach Colectivos ( shared taxi van's) run about every 20 minutes to Las Varas where you can shop, go to the bank and atm machine or catch other colectivos or buses to anywhere in Mexico We have digitally programmable wall safes for your valuables and the purified water is safe to drink from the taps throughout the Inn. Guest access Common spaces are the covered rooftop deck, with sweeping views, and the garden behind the inn.
