Our 1907 Venetian-inspired Italianate building has lived many lives, from an International Music School to Mining Prospector’s office, and in the more recent past a Woolworth’s department store. John Wayne even owned the building for a hot-second. We’ve channeled our building's history into a collection of guest rooms for sophisticated, rugged, and curious travelers. From Italian futurism to bohemian chic, all of our guest suites are unique and inspiring. The space Located on Main Street in the heart of historic Old Bisbee and equipped with such modern comforts as natural fiber linens, memory foam mattresses, and fresh ground local coffee from Old Bisbee Roasters, your room is the ideal home base for exploring all that our town has to offer (be sure to check out our guidebook for our favorite spots to check out during your stay). We've also taken care to decorate your room with a collection of vintage objects to delight and inspire. You might think of our spaces as something of an invitation, to meet an assembly of imaginary hosts, to pass time among their collections, and maybe even take a token of your time when an exchange of goodbyes returns you to the familiar pavement of your own path. Across the third floor landing in 3E, amid the din of Van Halen’s “Panama” you’ll find a space created by the building’s imaginary resident teenager. He would be quick to share a near-verbatim recitation of the sci-fi paperback he’s reading, challenge you to a game on his Atari, or ask if you’d like to watch his VHS of E.T. with him, which - fair warning - would surely be accompanied by an enthusiastic, in-depth commentary informed by countless viewings. He also has a collection of rocks and geological oddities, and would likely invite you to come along to hunt for more. Be sure to bring a flashlight - less for the illumination of the path than the stray extraterrestrial you hope to find alongside it. Guest access All guests enter the building through our Subway Street entrance. During business hours, you'll also have access to our "lounge", Object Limited's storefront on Main Street. Other things to note Welcome to the Wild West. Bisbee encourages a certain amount of freedom that you won’t find elsewhere. Fireworks on a Tuesday? Sure, why not? In the building, though, we have a few rules out of respect to our guests and residents. Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 10 AM. Please be respectful of other guests, particularly when in the hallways. If another guest is not respecting quiet hours, please message us and we will contact them directly. We love when you share our spaces with friends, just please let us know if you plan to host a gathering of more than 2 people not included in your reservation. WE DO NOT ALLOW UNAUTHORIZED FILM/PHOTO SHOOTS. Private and commercial shoots are, however, permitted for a fee. Please be honest with us, if you try to use our property for a shoot without permission, we will ask you to leave without exception and we will not reimburse your reservation. Sorry, due to past damage issues no pets. Our building is over 100 years old, and while we’ve brought many modern conveniences into the space, you may not have all the comforts you're familiar with. Specifically, our building was constructed before the invention of air conditioners and heaters. That means it’s full of light, designed for natural heating/cooling via intelligent air-flow dynamics, and positioned to maximize the sunlight to heat in the winter and cool in the summer (we do, however, provide electric heaters in each room during the colder months, and offer additional fans during the summer by request). Also, like most of Bisbee, there is no elevator or porter service to reach guest rooms on the second and third floor. No TVs, but plenty of books...and high-speed WiFi if an hour in Bisbee doesn't make you forget that modern technology exists ;) This is an adventure, remember? If you have any specific requests, we’ll do our best to satisfy them.
