Museo De Varadero: Calle 57 corner of Avenida Playa, Varadero The Municipal Museum is located in downtown Varadero. It displays archaeological artefacts of aboriginal people of the region and also antique furniture, documents, maps, photographs, and objects related to the short history of the town. The house dates back to 1921, the beautiful architecture of this 2-storey wooden building is reason enough for a visit. It was one of the first frame houses built on the Hicacos Peninsula. The design, with its elegant wrap-around porches, is typical of beach houses from that period. Centro Comercial Hicacos: Avenida 1 corner of calle 44 Shoping mall where you can find some restaurants, stores and a currency exchange office. Parque Retiro Josone: Avenida 1 between Calle 56 & 58, Varadero Josone Park is one of the most popular attractions in Varadero. First of all, its location connects what many consider to be the “new” and the “old” sections of Veradero. Second, it’s one of the rare spots that truly attract significant numbers of tourists and Cuban locals alike. After sunset, Live music here is the norm, not the exception, and much of the best in local Cuban dance music can be found here nearly every night. As the evening goes on the crowds gather—and before you know it, the party has grown into the street, fully shutting it down to vehicular traffic. Beatles: The Beatles bar/restaurant has become one of Varadero’s most popular nighttime haunts, especially among young people who particularly enjoy the live performances of some of the island's best rock bands!
