Sierra Palms house, has 3 bedrooms, each with its own bath. The kitchen opens to a long terrace with hammocks. A switchback trail leads through the forest to river pools and waterfalls of the Cubuy River. The space The Sierra Palms House is surrounded by the tropical vegetation of the rain forest. The sounds you hear are the sounds of nature: the rivers swirling over huge granite boulders, bird song, tree frogs, and rippling palm fronds. The night sky is lit only by moon and stars. Guest access Guests of Sierra Palms Villa are welcome at Casa Cubuy Ecolodge, our main facility 1/2 mile away, where they have access to free WIFI and more hiking trails. They can also reserve a place for our delicious breakfast at $12 per person. There is parking for three cars outside the Sierra Palms compound. Other things to note The total price does not include 7% room tax, that will charged on arrival with a credit card or can be paid in cash. Please note the trail down to the rivers at Sierra Palms are difficult to extreme! These are not for your average beginner, especially when it rains due to the ground and rocks getting extremely slippery. There are hundreds of trails right up the road in the National Rainforest that range for beginner walkers to extreme climbers.
