Coral Bay is on the east side of St. John. Our cottage is tucked back into a sparse residential area. We share a driveway with our island neighbors. Pura Vida Coral Bay is less than 10 minutes from Salt Pond Beach and about 15-20 minutes from Maho Beach. You will find that this side of this island is quieter and very peaceful for a much needed vacation away from all the stresses of every day life! There are three grocery stores in Coral Bay and at least 5 restaurants open at various times. The space Pura Vida Coral Bay is a two-story cottage. The lower unit is not available for guests at this time. The upper unit is about 450 sq. feet plus more than 450 sq. feet of deck space. We live outside most of the time with the nice cool breezes; however, we have a/c included so you can enjoy the coolness inside as well! The upper space has a queen bed in the bedroom, a queen bed in the loft, and a futon that folds out that can sleep two small children or one small adult. To reach the loft, one must be able to climb a ladder. Perfect for a family of two adults and two children. We also have a blow up mattress available for extra comfort. Our bathroom is inside, however the shower is right outside the bathroom door. It is very private and surround by foliage and privacy fence! Guest access Guests have access to all areas except for storage units. Other things to note We have snorkel gear for your use for free; however, we recommend you bring your own so that you will have proper fitting. Lost or damaged equipment will be replaced at renter’s expense. We supply beach towels. Beach chairs are not guaranteed but there are rental places in Coral and Cruz Bay.
