Newly built in 2023, this modern open plan 2 bed 2.5 bath townhouse has incredible views and luxurious finishing, perfect for a relaxing stay in Girdwood, and a great homebase for your Alaska adventures. The townhouse is fully equipped, thoughtfully designed, with a dedicated workspace and 3-person hot tub. There are 2 private decks, one facing the mountain, one facing a creek. Located in the core of Girdwood, it's a short walk to restaurants, coffee shops, nature trails, brewery and more. The space Welcome to The Seymour - modern, mountain luxury in Girdwood, AK (45 minutes from Anchorage). Views from the many windows look out to mountains, trees, a creek and even glaciers. Sit outside on one of two private decks and enjoy the scenery in the fresh air. Rain, snow, or shine, The Seymour is light and bright inside and is a special place to relax and unwind, especially after a day outside in AK. A three person hot tub/spa is on the back deck (fits two more comfortably but can seat three). Each bedroom has a queen bed with high quality linens, multiple pillows, and a full length mirror. The primary bedroom has a workstation to take virtual meetings or emails, separate from the main living area. The chaise in the primary bedroom is waiting for you to read a great book or take an afternoon nap. There's two full bathrooms on the 3rd level; one has a tub/shower and the other has a shower. Linens, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash supplied. A half bath is on the 2nd level. There are great restaurants in Girdwood, but if you choose to cook, we have what you’ll need. The kitchen is equipped with high end pots and pans, a waffle maker, blender, coffee maker, French press, and over 20 spices. Clean up is made easy with a full size dishwasher and large sink. The Seymour is in a quiet building, with four other townhouses, in the downtown core of Girdwood. There is a second set of townhomes east in the parking lot. The townhouse is on three levels with stairs going to each. This is a great spot for couples or a family with older children. In the pantry, you’ll find tennis rackets & balls, pickleball paddles & balls, as well as a frisbee/disc golf set to use at the courts and course just a five minute walk from the place. There’s a can of bear spray to take with you on your outdoor adventures, while you're here. In the living room is a small assortment of games, puzzles, and books to enjoy during your stay. The owners have cats that periodically are inside The Seymour when the owners stay at the property during the winter. We are not currently accepting pets during guest stays. Guest access You’ll have the townhouse to yourself, using the keypad on the front door. You won’t have a set of keys while you are staying. There is no access to the garage for guests. Other things to note We have a security camera/recording device on the front and back exterior doors.
