PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE BOOKING. Get cozy & settle into this cute apartment in a historic rustic barn. Great for couples or a small family, our farm is a perfect jumping point for trips around the Willamette Valley. Minutes from highway 22 gets you easy access to Cascade trails, Silver Falls State Park, shopping in Salem, and wine tasting in the valley. WiFi, Tv w/ Roku, eat-in kitchen, Queen bed in bedroom, convertible sofa bed, bathroom w/ shower, & covered porch w/ outdoor seating. The space This little apartment is a converted living space in a historic 1930s barn on a working apple farm. The patio area is shared with the entrance to our little barn store. The store is open on Fridays and Saturdays from August to November so there may be customers walking around the front and side of the building to access our store and our public restroom. Once a month we have a community grocery pickup for Azure standard here. If your stay overlaps with one of these deliveries I will let you know. Other days of the week the barn area is only used by our family as we work. This is a working farm so you may encounter tractor noises and other equipment sounds during the day including morning and early evening. The living area right inside the entrance has ample seating for a couple or a small group of 4. Roku entertainment center and games will keep you occupied. The comfy couch has a pull-out bed with a full size memory foam mattress. The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, range, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots and pans, utensils, dishes, mixing bowls, baking trays, and a few pantry essentials. Relax in the shower with the removable shower head after a day of travel or hiking. Makeup removal cloths, fresh towels, hair dryer, and curling iron all stocked. Enjoy a cozy bedroom with a queen size bed and very comfortable mattress. Light sconces by the bed have a phone holder and usb charging port. There are two steps up into the bedroom with a handle on the wall for support. Pets are allowed for a fee. Please read all house rules pertaining to pets before booking your stay. Take a walk around the farm and enjoy the beautiful apple orchard. This farm was a homestead in the 1860s. We get the most beautiful sunsets here. Enjoy an evening walk for the view or just watch it from your kitchen window. Guest access Full access to your private apartment from a semi-public porch on a working farm. Other things to note During your stay, if there is anything you notice that would cause you not to leave a 5-star review, please let us know right away so we can respond to your concerns immediately. BEDROOM: Furnished with queen bed, dresser, phone charging light sconces, and a closet. There is a step up into the bedroom and the space has a privacy curtain over the doorway (no door). LIVING ROOM SLEEPING OPTION: The couch pulls out to a double bed with a memory foam mattress. Please contact us before booking if you have concerns about accommodations for the size of your group. We do also have a travel crib available for families with infants. AC UNIT: This is a portable AC unit by LG. From spring to fall, it is installed in the kitchen window as that is the most central room of the apartment. It will effectively cool down the space to a reasonable temperature. If you want to improve airflow to the living room and bedroom areas there are oscillating fans to move more cool air from the kitchen. Please do not move the AC unit. FARM LIFE: You may encounter our free ranging chickens around the property. And while we meticulously maintain the space and set traps weekly, out in these rural areas you may be more likely to encounter critters like spiders or ants indoors than you might be in an urban area.
