This is two separate apartments, in the same building. Perfect for traveling co-workers, or a couple’s weekend, where you still want some privacy. Each apartment has its own front door, it’s own full kitchen, and it’s own bathroom. There are absolutely no shared spaces, other than the hallways before your front doors. One apartment is decorated in an Asian-inspired aesthetic, and is called Far East Escape. The other is decorated in Mexican-inspired vibrancy, and is called Talavera. The space This apartment building has eight total apartments in it. These two, are in separate floors- Talavera on floor one. And Far East Escape on floor two, up a 15 stair- stairway. They each have their own front door. Far East Escape enters into a full kitchen with cooking utensils and dishes for full meals, as well as dining seating for two. The bedroom features a queen sized memory foam bed against a bamboo backdrop, a traditional Japanese tea table, and Shogi screen. There is an additional living space with a fold-out futon couch which can sleep two more people, and a full bathroom with standup shower. Talavera enters into a full kitchen including a countertop tortilla press. Brightly colored Talavera pottery hosts live cacti, and brightly colored serapes line the wall and bed. A queen sized memory foam bed, loveseat, and vibrant bathroom with standup shower complete the space. These two spaces would make an excellent getaway for two couples who would like their own space, but still want to travel together, or traveling co-workers. In the basement is app-operated laundry. Plenty of dishes and linens for your needs. There is a starter set of coffee and tea, as well as some small meal and snack items in the cupboard. Inquire about monthly stays! Located 1/2 mile to Salem Health, Willamette University, and the State Capital. One mile to downtown. All genders, orientations, religions, ethnicities, and races are welcome here. Guest access You’ll be given a personal code to the front door, and other codes to each of the apartments. No keys to lose! Please do not have mail and packages delivered to this address. We advise that you set up a PO Box at the Post Office or the UPS Store instead. Other things to note In accordance with our agreement with the management company, upon booking we will also ask you for your ID, your email address, and to sign a Temporary Occupancy Agreement. The TV is a ROKU, which means you can stream Netflix, HBOMax, Hulu, etc, using your OWN accounts. This is a safe area of town, but it is in a capital city. That means that you may hear normal city noises, like homeless people, traffic, garbage trucks, a train, or aircraft. We do provide earplugs for this reason. This is a building of eight apartments. There are four (unassigned) parking spots in the back of the apartment. You’re welcome to park there, if there’s room. There is app-operated laundry setup in the basement.
