This Jungle Retreat Center is nestled on 47 acres at the top of a mountain only 20 minutes from the Puerto Plata Airport. Outdoor showers, open-air rooms, and a luscious jungle all around you. At Symmetry Oasis, experience the Dominican Republic. The space Symmetry Oasis is a Jungle Retreat Center initially created by a family of missionaries in the early 70s and is currently updated and used for retreats. When you arrive at the property, you will enjoy our mile-long driveway through the mountain jungle to come at the top. The entryway has a pond stocked with fish and a small waterfall. This is also where we may be hosting cocktail hours (please let me know when you arrive for details). Enjoy breathtaking views in the open-air kitchen as you enjoy your meals. Please feel free to request the option, available at select times, to have authentic Dominican food prepared by our staff (you must arrange it before your stay). This is a Jungle Retreat Center with open-air buildings surrounded by nature. We have a backup solar system as well as a generator. The pool is crystal clear and an incredible place to cool off and relax between 8 am-7 pm. Please consider bringing your floaties/goggles, etc., if there is something specific your family would like to use. Kids are welcome at Symmetry Oasis, but we ask that you keep a close watch on them as there is no fence around the pool and potentially high spaces with low railings on walkways. Being a Jungle Retreat Center, Symmetry Oasis may not be suitable for those with mobility concerns. Walking over to the Jungle Retreat Suite in El Cuatro, where you'll be staying, you'll see this one-of-a-kind accommodation is connected by an outdoor seating/dining area with four identical rooms. Rooms are private, similar to what you'd expect at a small bed and breakfast. Each room contains one queen bed and one twin. Shared bathroom spaces outside El Cuatro include two outdoor showers and two clean, private bathroom stalls with flushing toilets. Your stay at our Jungle Retreat Center will reconnect you with nature and loved ones like never before and share a real, authentic, wild Dominican experience!
