Come join our home away from home. We are located 2 miles from Surf City on a nice quiet lot away from the hustle and bustle of the beach. There is a small farm located behind the home. Our home offers the sand, sun, and a retreat with room to stretch out all in one. Unwind after a busy day exploring Topsail Island on the front covered porch or the back deck with a pergola. The Sun Dog is 2 miles from the beach and intracoastal waterway and perfectly positioned between Wilmington and Jacksonville. We offer a nice seating area with 2 love seats and a recliner with a 40-inch flat-screen television with streaming apps. We have also included a Bluetooth speaker for you to use to stream your favorite music while relaxing. Our 2 bedrooms offer a queen bed and a double bed with lots of pillows. We have provided linens, extra pillows, and blankets. The bathroom is supplied with towels, and washcloths for your convenience. We have a shower and bathtub for your use. Our kitchen is stocked with cookware, cookie sheets, and a keurig. We have plates and cups, wine glasses, cooking and eating utensils. We also offer a dishwasher with dishwasher tabs. It is a perfect retreat for couples and families. Room to let the children run and play after a fun day on the water. You have 2 outdoor sitting areas with a charcoal grill for relaxing. The back deck has a lighted pergola for your use. It is a perfect spot to sit and drink coffee in the morning as well as relaxing in the evening. The front porch is perfect for southern nights with a nice evening breeze. The back patio is perfect for morning coffee, sunbathing, and evening grilling. We even have enough space to bring your boat as well. There are 3 public boat landings within a few miles where you can launch your boat, kayak, or canoe. Surf City has many amenities including many restaurants, ice cream shops, food trucks, grocery stores, breweries, live music, and putt putt. There are jet ski and boat rentals down the street along with a sunset cruise right in Surf City. Take a walk across the high-rise bridge for a beautiful sunrise and sunset. Restaurants include Seafood, Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Burgers, and much more. Just ask and we can make recommendations!!! We also have supplied 3 beach towels and a cooler for your beach day! If you are interested in visiting Wilmington or Jacksonville you are only 45 minutes away. We are conveniently located between ILM & Ellis Airport. With historical sites nearby there is plenty to do. The ferry ride from Fort Fisher is a great day trip and a nice way to see Southport. We are right next door so we are here to serve you. Guest access You will have access to the home and outside living space. There is room for your boat too! Parking in in the grass beside the rental as we need to ensure access to the back of the lot.
