Make your time in the Hudson Valley relaxing and memorable in our ranch style home with a stream running through it. We have wildlife, about 50 trees on our acre of land, and plenty of amenities (firepits, hottub, etc.). Hiking trails just a 5 min walk from our doorstep. We are located 7 minutes from Peekskill waterfront and equidistant to Croton. We share our home with two adorable & friendly cats that are kept out of the room you'll be staying in and are hypoallergenic. Come stay and unwind! The space We live in a ranch-style home built in the 1950s but gut-renovated in 2019 with a modern layout. We have a large nearly 1-acre property that guests can explore and enjoy including a hammock, firepit, and streamside walking path. Our place is off of a moderately busy road but the house itself is placed far enough back in the property that car noises are not very present at all. We have the home decorated in a modern way with illustration art, plants, and velvet furniture. Guest access Guests are welcome to the guest room, living room, great room with fireplace, backyard, front porch, and for limited purposes - the kitchen. Note we do not typically allow people to cook meals here as it's a large extra chore for us to show you where everything is and how it works. Use of the microwave is OK and use of the refrigerator to store food is OK. During your stay We are around mostly in the evenings after work and are always happy to chat with our guests and provide recommendations or to chat about anything really. Other things to note - We cannot accept guests with zero or very few reviews. Guests stay with us in our home so a positive track record is imperative for us to feel comfortable hosting you. - We do not host guests under 21 unless they are with an older co-guest. - No visitors are allowed that are not on the original reservation.
