Inside, you'll find an incredibly comfortable full-size bed adorned with warm linens, providing the perfect setting for a restful night's sleep under the stars. Please help us maintain the cleanliness of our tent by removing your shoes before entering, ensuring a comfortable and pristine environment for all our guests. We are adding limited electricity to this site, included will be a solar panel with a small power inverter such as a Jackery Explorer or a 800W Bluetti EB70S. This can run a small fan overnight and charge phones or tablets. When it's sunny you will have more free renewable energy. There is another tent site through the woods similar to this one. Feel free to visit us when we're outdoors, just let us know prior. We respect your privacy and will ensure that your stay is undisturbed, though our friendly little dogs may come for an unplanned visit. We're here to make your stay truly exceptional. Other things to note Immerse Yourself in Nature at Osprey Ridge Campground: At Osprey Ridge, you'll experience the tranquility of nature while still being within reach of downtown Orr, located approximately 0.5 miles away. While our location offers convenience, please be aware that you may hear occasional noises from our busy downtown area and neighborhood dogs at times, as well as the melodic calls of loons in the early hours. Its a great site if you like trains! An important part of Minnesota's commerce is transportation by rail and roadway so there will be some highway and train noise. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to have noise-cancelation devices handy. Embrace the Wilderness: Nature lovers will delight in the abundance of natural sounds and wildlife sightings. Keep your eyes peeled for wild animals and birds, adding to the charm of your outdoor experience. Bugs and Insect Repellent: As with any camping experience, bugs are a part of the natural environment. Be prepared by bringing plenty of insect repellent spray to keep them at bay, especially during the early morning and dusk when mosquitoes tend to be more active. Firewood Availability: While we provide a small amount of firewood at the site, larger bundles and wheelbarrow loads are available for a free-will purchase from Co-host Greg. Stock up and enjoy cozy campfire evenings under the stars. Amenities in the Parking Area: Coffee Bar: Don't forget to stop by for a free cup of coffee in the morning at the Coffee Bar located in the parking area. Coffee begins brewing at 7:00 AM and continues until 9:00 AM. If you need different hours, just let a host know! (If you are the only guest or guests Coffee time will be at your digression) Now serving ice cold sodas!: Coke, Diet Coke, Diet Dr. Pepper and Bottled Water -$1.00 per can or bottle! All proceeds go to replenishing the coffee bar! Starting in Summer of 2025 FRESH unwashed chicken and quail eggs. Outdoor Shower Experience: Indulge in the ultimate outdoor shower experience at individual site #1, complete with on-demand hot water. We provide biodegradable shampoo and body wash for your convenience, so all you need to bring are your towels. Shower under the stars and reconnect with nature in a whole new way.
