Welcome to the 3rd oldest Airbnb in Montana! We are a small family owned and run business, providing clean & comfortable lodging for individuals & families for over 17 years! I was on Flathead Lake for 15 years and am now thrilled to be opening my home in Missoula. Take it easy at my unique and tranquil getaway, only 15 minutes from downtown, minuets from miles of hiking trails in Pattee Canyon & a great base for your Montana expedition! If you’re not using the hot tub -50$ on cleaning. The space Come relax & settle into my comfortable, private and unique forest home. Jane's Place is the 3rd oldest Airbnb in Montana, we've been hosting guests since 2005. My home is super private, newly renovated (except 1970’s bathroom, I love it!) my neighbors are almost an acre away on either side and my property butts up to State land behind. Enjoy the peace & tranquility of the forest, while only 15 minutes, at most, from downtown. (10 minutes from Sentinal High) the airbnb map causes this location to look SO far out, it’s not. You are responsible for your guests knowing and following the house rules. If you can’t follow directions & house rules, book elsewhere. This is my personal home, not a sterile investment property for airbnb, please treat it nicely. Deer, turkeys and close to 20 species of birds frequent my place, along with resident chipmunks, squirrels and other animals. The kitchen, living, dining, basement and bedrooms are all newly renovated. New hardwood floors & all other flooring is new. New beds, linens, basically most everything! The new back patio area is a super large graveled space for hanging out, BBQ'ing, hot tubbing(new) and enjoying your morning joe watching the hummingbirds feed or some private sunbathing. My home is 100% shoe free, leave them at the door please. I have hardwood floors. Flip flops, slippers & light tennis shoes with no heavy treads are ok. Gravel outside. I do not allow pets, service animals included. This is my primary home and I am allergic. This home is not suitable for kids under 16. On the exterior & surrounding grounds I am still working. ***You are renting the upstairs of my home only. The laundry is downstairs, but that’s the extent of your use in the basement, it’s a private space. Guest access 3.5+ acres are open for your use. I have plenty of parking, a great stop off if you're headed to the lake with your boat or RV. ***Please inquire prior to bringing it. It's slightly tricky, but not impossible for trailers over 25'. The entire upstairs of my home is open for your use, 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The laundry area is downstairs and you are welcome to use it during your stay, just not the bed, bathroom or lounge area...maybe next year. Booked guests only, no “visitors”. My home is not suitable for kids under 16 or pets of any kind. GARBAGE: The garage is where your garbage cans are, on the LEFT side. Parking in the garage is not allowed, except for motorcycles :) Please let me know ahead of time so we can make sure there’s room. Other things to note Welcome! You are responsible for knowing and understanding my house rules and conveying this information to your guests, you are responsible for your guests. Please read the house rules before booking. If you can’t follow directions or house rules, book elsewhere. This is NOT a party house, no local renters. Leave your street shoes at the door, my home is 100% shoe free. Gravel outside & new hardwood floors inside do not mix. Sole treads pick up and hold gravel. Flip flops & slippers are great! In person check in is required. **Bathroom Etiquette: My home is on a septic system. NO personal wipes, feminine hygiene products, q-tips, paper towels, tissues or anything other than the TP provided in my toilets. You WILL have a backup & be financially responsible for any repairs & cleanup. The last one was 585$ due to personal wipes & feminine hygiene products. These items are unacceptable. Use the garbage cans provided. You are renting the upstairs of my home ONLY. The laundry is downstairs, you are welcome to use it & is included in your rental. The space in general, bed, bath & living area downstairs, are private. Please respect that. Thanks! Booked guests only, no “visitors”. My home is not suitable for kids under 16 or pets of any type. Because of new insurance rules, you are not allowed to use any of our fireplaces. No fires. This is Montana, although we are only 10 minutes to town/15 minutes to downtown, wild animals such as bears, chipmunks, birds, squirrels and the like are around. Keep your trash secure. There are several cans in the garage for your use, the Garage, LEFT side. Just lift the door from the bottom. Hot Tub: 3 person MAX. Please shower prior to soaking. DO NOT use the tub if under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Pregnant women are advised to not use it. The hot tub is drained & cleaned after every guest stay, not just more chemicals added to “clean” it, therefore the tub may not be quite up to temp upon your arrival, it’s generally warm enough by dinner time. Turn the jets off and close the cover when you are done using it. I am generally at the house upon your arrival to explain its use and a few other house rules. My Insurance company requires this. I have Alexa, not voice integrated. You are welcome to unplug her while you’re here if it bothers you. Turn the lights off when you leave. If you move furniture around, put it back, thanks. Shoot me a text on your way out. Accidents and spills: under every sink in the house, always in the kitchen, are clean rags & cleaning supplies. Please use the rags to clean up spills and messes rather than my new towels. ***Accidents happen, I understand this. Please, no surprises, let me know so I can arrange for repairs or replacements as soon as possible so as not to impact the next guest. Thank you very much!!
