Nestled in rural Central Maine in the beautiful peace and quiet.
Halcyon Ridge is owned by Lynn and Chuck Hadyniak, who live near the Halcyon Ridge property. Lynn and Chuck moved out of New Jersey years ago to get away from the hustle and bustle and raise a family in peace. They love Freedom for its quietness and natural beauty, and would love to host people at Halcyon Ridge who also want to escape the noise. Stargazers will be delighted: low humidity, expansive view of the southeastern sky, and next to no light pollution make for wonderful viewing. The space A 2-story cape, our 2-bedroom (1 queen, 1 double) home is secluded, newly renovated, and complete with new full-sized appliances, A/C, heated tile (1st floor) & heated wood floors (2nd floor). We've even added a Reader's Nook! Perfect for a weekend getaway, a week-long retreat from the noise of the concrete jungle, or an even longer getaway. Guest access You have full access to our entire 2-story home, as well as a private driveway, free parking, large side yards for outdoor activities, and a backyard with a view that stretches for miles. Enjoy our fire pit any night of the year! Stargazers won't be disappointed: light pollution hasn't really reached us yet here in Freedom, and the stars of the southeastern sky put on a nightly show. LL Bean snowshoes for 2 adults are available, or bring your cross-country skis! Rest. Relax. Recharge. Other things to note NO CICADAS!!🎉 And our weather so far this Summer 2024 has been fabulous, as you can see from the pictures.
