The apartment is unique in that it is 2 studio apartments that were made into one large 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor, so it is all on one level with exterior steps up to it. It has 1,084 sq ft of living space with 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a queen sofa bed in the Living Room, vaulted ceilings, and 2 patio doors leading to a huge covered balcony overlooking the pool. The balcony keeps the sun and rain off and is 270 sq ft of extended living space! It is a lovely place to eat meals, watch the sunset, or laze the day away! From the living room you will walk into the master bedroom where there is a King size bed, you then walk down the hall to the 2nd bedroom which has 2 twin beds, (note: you must walk through the master bedroom and down a hall to reach the 2nd bedroom), in the living room is a Queen pullout sofa bed. There is also a cot for a small child and a port-crib for an infant. There is a separate air conditioning unit in each bedroom. Both bathrooms have walk-in showers with instant hot water! Guest access Guests will have the entire apartment to themselves. The property is in a gated community and guest will have access to all the amenities including the pool, on-site Bahia Restaurant and Bar, Discover Restaurant and Bar and Bahia Diving! The view overlooking the lagoon and the Caribbean Sea is breathtaking and even more spectacular at sunset! Bahia Diving is located on Lagun Beach and is a full service PADI diving operation with a great reputation for their friendly, experienced and safety conscious staff. Lagun Beach is located in Westpunt, near many of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Within 1-6 miles you can explore 7 of the best beaches on the island! Seriously, Westpunt is where its at for the best beaches! Listed in order from Lagun to the West End: 1. Lagun beach- just mere steps to the beach. Wonderful protected lagoon perfect for a morning or sunset snorkel. Best beach for kids. Turtles frequent the lagoon. Loungers/umbrellas for rent. 2 full restaurants/bars on site. Home to Bahia Dive shop. 2. Jeremy Beach- Quiet beach with chairs and umbrellas for rent, walk or drive. No vendors/food. 3. Little Knip- (Playa Klein Knip)Little sister to Big Knip. Smaller but just as beautiful. A must! Loungers/umbrellas for rent. Occasional Food/Smoothie trucks. 4. Big Knip (Playa Kenepa)-Ranked one of the top beaches in the world! Smoothie Truck, Food/drinks (beer, soda) to order on the beach. Chairs and umbrellas for rent. Breathtaking! 5. Playa Forti-Down the steps down to the beach from Playa Forti restaurant. Cliff diving from the restaurant. No services on the beach. 6. Playa Grande (Playa Piskado)- Where the fishermen are which attracts lots of turtles. Practically a guarantee you can swim with the turtles. Food/drink (soda, beer) vendors. 7. Playa Kalki- Home to Go West Diving. Loungers and umbrellas for rent. Great snorkeling. Beautiful beach. Also on the West End are The National Parks- Shete Boca and Mount Cristoffel as well as many restaurants such as Bahia Restaurant, El Sobrino, Blue View, Playa Forti, and Sol Food! The West End is the best! However, if you want a night in town Willemstad is a 45 minute drive away. Our favorite rental car operation is D & D Rental Cars! The staff will pick you up at the airport and take you 0.5 miles down the street to the office where they will hand you the keys with no long lines or contracts. The cars are great and they are responsive with any issues. The prices are comparable but it is much faster and easier. Electricity and water are included! There are 120V receptacles throughout and also a 220 V for European guests. There is instant hot water in each bathroom and an AC unit in each bedroom. There is an extra guest fee for each person over 4 guests. This keeps the cost down for smaller groups.
