The space Vivian’s Serenity Guest House is a beautifully adorned and cozy farmhouse that offers a little piece of Heaven on Earth! Situated among the green hills of Amish Country, the Guest House is tucked away just enough to enjoy the sweet sounds and beautiful views of nature! Enjoy the large front porch with the comfiest swing for 3 as you sip your coffee or tea. Flanked with wooden beams, hardwood flooring and quaint farmhouse details, you’ll feel ready to enjoy some R & R! As you enter the guest house, you’re greeted with an open concept kitchen with island seating for 3. You will find seating at the table accommodates 4 to eat together or play a board game. In addition to preparing a meal or having a drink, there is a tv in the kitchen common area you can enjoy as well. (There is also a small sitting area to enjoy a cup of coffee in the large kitchen.) Adjacent to the kitchen is also a spacious bathroom with double sinks, shower and toilet. The laundry room is connected to the bathroom, allowing for a seamless effort to throw in the towel, literally :) Detergent and softener are provided. We also have a small children’s nook located off of the kitchen that has plenty of books, and a variety of toys for those ages 0-100. As you walk up the original creaky hardwood steps, you’ll find a spacious and inviting living room area including the comfy couch and reclining chairs. The perfect place to read or cozy up to watch a movie. You’ll have access to the large flat screen tv and are welcome to sign in using your Netflix, Hulu or other streaming accounts. There is a small fridge located on this floor as well to accommodate those who would like to use it. Both bedrooms are located off of the sitting area providing a homey and warm setting. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the secondary bedroom holds a queen size bed. !New! December of 2023, we have added a bathroom on the second floor, in the master bedroom itself. A beautiful modern shower, vanity and private toilet room for your convenience! The master bedroom has a walk out door accessing nature via a deck with lounge chairs awaiting you. Outside in the yard, you can cozy up to a homemade fire where wood is provided for the fire pit, along with seating for 4. The grill is available with propane provided. *For those who are bringing their doggies, we ask that you clean up after them, poop bags are provided. *Please note* As pups tend to shed, we charge a pet fee for the additional time it takes to remove pet hair and extra cleanup. Water bowls and a plush bed are also available for Fido at your request. We can’t wait to host you and make every effort for you to feel as comfortable in our home as you do your own! Guest access Guests will have access to all areas of the house with the exception of the utility closet on the first floor as well as the second floor storage closet. Other things to note We are happy to make recommendations on local eateries and activities to experience so it can be tailored to what is important to you during your stay! We do have a guidebook printed at the house as well for your convenience!
