Climate controlled heating/cooling, hot water. ***Two additional, fully updated, cabins available for additional guest*** The space Bell's Cabin can sleep up to six but we do have two additional cabins on site for larger parties. -No additional guests allowed on the property outside the number of guests on the reservation please Bell's cabin comes with a king, full and two single beds and is fully bedded with blankets and pillows. Our property of 13 acres is abutted by 100's of acres of state park land. Two stocked ponds connected by a cascading stream, fire pits with seating, furnished gazebo with wood stove. You also have the option to rent out the entirety of Camp David for your party which would include exclusive access to all 13 acres and all three cabins (Bell's Cabin, The Chatham House, and Chief's Cottage). Guest access You'll have access to the entire 13 acres of private, secluded property including two ponds, gazebo, open fields and multiple fire pits. There is also onsite parking tucked away from the cabins, ponds, and open areas. Please be aware that the property features three separate cabins on the property and guests may be staying in them during your stay. If you would like exclusive access to the entire site, please explore booking "Camp David". Other things to note Camp David was originally a German hunting camp at the turn of the 20th century. It was later donated to the Boy Scouts in the 1940’s. By the 2000’s, it was left abandoned at which time I purchased it and began to restore it back to its true form while maintaining the cabin life integrity. I am a contractor and arborist by trade and the last ten years I have worked hard to bring the site back to life. The camp consists of 13 acres abutted by 100's of acres of state park land. There are two stocked ponds connected by a cascading stream, multiple fire pits with seating, furnished gazebo with wood stove, picnic tables, and multiple park benches located throughout the property. Below are close locations to visit: > Walpack Fish and Wildlife Management Area- Great for sightseeing, hiking, biking, fishing, hunting > Walpack Inn- Beautiful restaurant with an entire back wall, window view overseeing Kittatinny Valley > Appalachian Trail- hiking, sightseeing > Catfish Fire Tower- Great hiking and views > Buttermilk Falls- beautiful waterfalls > Long Pine Pond & Crater Lake- Both are spring fed and great for swimming and boating (clear water) > Swartswood Lake- Swimming & boating > Delaware River- Great for swimming, boating, tubing, canoeing, fishing > Delaware Water Gap National Recreational Area- More sightseeing, hiking, fishing, swimming, Bushkill Falls > Dingmans Ferry
