Other things to note Our home is located in a peaceful countryside setting on a spacious half-acre lot. There is a small two-step staircase at the entrance. Please be aware that wildlife such as deer, skunks, hogs, and other animals may be present in the area. We are conveniently close to Lake Dunlap, just a block away, with Schuman's beach boat ramp a few blocks away for easy access. The recent repair of Lake Dunlap's dam has restored the lake to its full levels, providing great opportunities for fishing, water skiing, wakeboarding, and wake surfing. Cactus Haus is 6 miles from Schlitterbahn and 9 miles from Gruene. During the busy season, it may take 15-20 minutes to reach Schlitterbahn due to summer traffic.
