Welcome to The Starlet, a delightfully restored 1962 Kenskill travel trailer, nestled in the breathtaking beauty of Southern Utah. Experience a unique stay in this cozy vintage getaway combining retro vibes and modern comforts. The Starlet offers a nostalgic escape in an idyllic location. If you are coming in late at night and leaving early the next morning, this is not the place for you. Stepping into the Starlet is like stepping into a time machine to 1962 (but with better amenities!) The space The Starlet retro trailer is situated at the small, super cool, Nomad Retro RV Campground and Cafe. It's just 2 miles North of Kanab, Utah. This comfortable, well-designed space features the original details such as - a rich birch wood interior, pink sinks, tub, and stove (#adorable)! Sliding doors separate the charming bedroom from the kitchen and bath. The Starlet's bedroom sports two super comfortable twin beds and a TV /DVD player, inviting you to unwind after a day of exploration. Cozy dining area doubles as a workspace, allowing you to enjoy your meals or catch up on emails. The spacious kitchen( for a trailer), is equipped with a fridge, microwave, stove with oven, essential dishes, and utensils for your convenience. The private bathroom includes sink, toilet and a to-cute-for-words, small, original pink bathtub with shower! Plus an extra large closet for storing your own travel necessities. Please note in my house rules that I do require a signed rental agreement and photo ID. ★Two twin-size beds with fresh linens ★Private bathroom with plush towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash ★Stove with oven, fridge, and microwave ★French press Coffee maker ★Wi-Fi ★Air conditioning and heating ★Free parking on the premises ★Outdoor seating area with picturesque views ★TV and DVD player (“I Love Lucy” included! :) ★BBQ grill upon request ★Access to the communal bath house, fire pit area, cafe/patio, and the whole canyon property, which includes hiking trails to the dinosaur tracks. 3 things you are gonna love about staying at The Starlet - 😊Nomand Retro RV campground! A cool place to hang out with great coffee and frequent entertainment 😊Beautiful red rock cliffs surround you. 😊Super Clean. 3 things you are gonna NOT love about staying at The Starlet - 😕The Nomad Cafe is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays 🙁Beautiful red rock cliffs means sometimes the WIFI is unreliable (but mostly good). 😕At 24 feet, The Starlet is less than half the size of a hotel room The Starlet is not suitable for children under 5 years old. Guest access Check-in is between 4pm and 10pm, and check-out is 10:30am In addition to the trailer, you will also have access to our communal bath house, fire pit area, our cafe/patio, and the whole canyon property which includes hiking trails. Other things to note HOUSE RULES ▶︎NOTE, NOTE! - I do have a basic short-term rental agreement that I will email after booking and I ask for a photo ID. (You can see the details of that in advance under these House Rules.) - Check-in is between 4pm and 10pm, and check-out is 10:30am -PETS: The Starlet is a pet-free zone. Thanks so much for understanding. -QUIET HOURS are 10pm-7am; please keep noise to a minimum during this time. Feel free to message hosts about any disruptive guests during this time so we can handle the situation immediately. -BATH HOUSE: If you use the community bath house, please use common sense and courtesy and pick up after yourself. Please don't leave our white towels in the bathhouse.😉 Thx - LOST KEYS will incur a $50 charge. Be sure and leave them on the kitchen table when you check out!☺️ -COMMUNITY SPACES: Please be respectful of the property and other guests. Pick up your trash, and leave things as you found them. Please don't play music on a speaker unless you're sure everyone around you wants to hear it. Drive slowly through the parking area and watch for other guests. -NATURE: Please be respectful of our beautiful desert ecosystem! Don't leave trash, don't disturb wildlife and plants. NEVER leave markings on rocks! Scratching, painting, breaking, carving, or otherwise marking large rocks is considered vandalism. -WILDLIFE: Snakes, spiders, and scorpions are native to the area. Be aware of where you put your feet and hands outside. Please leave snakes alone - never try to handle them. Snakes, spiders, mice, and insects are attracted to food, so try to minimize attractions in and around your rental unit. -ALCOHOL/SUBSTANCES: Guests ages 21+ may consume alcohol they have purchased elsewhere. Underage drinking or illegal substance use will not be permitted. -------------------------------------------------------------------- SAMPLE RENTAL AGREEMENT- These Terms and Conditions clarify The Owner's obligations to The Guest, The Guest’s obligations to The Owner, and in the very unlikely event of any disputes, will be used as the basis for any resolution. Check-in date: between 4pm MST (No early check-in please unless approved beforehand) by 10:30am MST (No late check-out please unless approved beforehand) Maximum Occupancy The maximum number of guests is limited to 3 adults (OR - 2 adults and 2 small kids that can share a twin bed). Overoccupancy could result in eviction with no refunds. Not suitable for children under 5yrs old. The Starlet is a NO Pets accommodation. We do everything we can to make sure the Starlet and its property are prepared and ready for your best vacation ever. However, unexpected things do happen. We promise to do our very best to rectify any problems as quickly as possible. Please do let us know if any problems arise. ▶︎The Starlet is a NO Pets accommodation (even the little cute ones😉). Thanks for understanding. "Sneaking" your pet in will result in immediate eviction with no refunds and possible extra cleaning fees. The Legals - The Property will have been inspected prior to occupation and therefore The Guest undertakes to: • Notify The Owner immediately with regard to any damage and/or maintenance issues that require attention. • Keep the Property and all furniture, fixtures, fittings, and effects in or about the Property in the same state of repair and condition as found at the commencement of the Rental. The Guest shall follow the departure instructions provided by The Owner. System Failure: In case of failure of a system or amenity during your stay, including but not limited to, water, sewer, heating, air-conditioning, electrical, mechanical, ventilating, structural systems, major appliances, or WIFI and entertainment equipment, We shall promptly repair them. You agree to permit access to the Caravan to make repairs. We shall not be liable to You in damages, and NO REBATE OR REFUND will be given for such temporary failure, provided We are repairing the system or amenity in a reasonable manner after having received notice from you that repairs are needed, however keep in mind, there are limited service contractors in The Kanab area. AMENITIES OFFERED: Equipment and facilities are provided at the discretion of The Owner and whilst every attempt is made to ensure that such equipment is in working order for the duration of the rental period, should a breakdown or some other situations occur that renders non-essential element unusable, the Owner does not take responsibility for replacing or refunding The Guest for the lack of use of this equipment or facilities. The equipment and facilities referred to include (but are not exclusive to) such items as televisions, DVDs, small kitchen appliances, etc. UPON YOUR CHECK OUT- Additional cleaning if needed, will be charged at cost, $25 per hr. (Including smell neutralizing, think twice you curry, fish and garlic cooks.) Late Checkouts will be charged at $25 per hr (sorry, learned that one the hard way....). No Smoking - at all Nope. None. Zilch. No smoking inside, on the porch, or in the yard. The Legals - New Kanab City regulations designate “No smoking outside anywhere within 30 ft of adjacent property”. Be a good neighbor - please don't be loud outside at night Nomad is a great RV Resort, please be considerate of the folks there. You may or may not have another visiting guest neighbor right next door in the adjacent trailer. I understand we may have other travelers right next door in the adjacent caravans. We promise to be kind and considerate. No smoking. Park only one vehicle in front of the trailer, others may park in front of the Cafe. Please strictly adhere to Quiet hours listed below. Cancellations - be careful and understand there may be no refunds 100% refund for cancellations made at least 8 days before check-in. Less mandatory fees such as 3% credit card processing, and possible Airbnb/Homeaway/Vrbo service fees if you booked through them No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in. Guest must initiate the cancellation if booked on Airbnb. Damages and extra fees - In the unlikely event, there is damage or extra fees (late checkout, extra people, extra cleaning, etc.) to the property, we will make charges through Airbnb Resolution Center. Charges may be made for reasonable replacements, repairs, OR EXTRA CLEANING FEES. The Legals - The Guest accepts full responsibility for the use of the Property and any equipment and agrees to pay for any damage done to the property by the guests, pets or their visitors, of said house, amenities, equipment, and property other than for normal wear and tear. Breach of property rules (smoking etc) is grounds for retaining security deposit. THE FINE PRINT: In the event that Police are called for any disruption, immediate eviction will take place with no refunds. If any legal action or proceedings are brought by either party of this Rental Agreement, the proceedings will be held in Kane Co. Utah. Guest will be subject to a $500 fee for unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks, plus legal and court fees if Host is required to sue for relief. I have read, understand, and agree to the terms and policies of this Short Term Rental Agreement, I agree to pay the rate charges according to my credit card agreement, as evidenced by the signatures set forth below.
