Wake up relaxed in this 1850's home overlooking the working marina at Bass Harbor. After a day of exploring Acadia, walk across the street to the seasonal full service restaurant and catch the stunning sunset. A short 5 minute drive to town features more restaurants & gift shops. The space Puffin's burrow is located in a large 1850's home that comprises 3 total units. This is a very quiet neighborhood and quiet hours are strictly enforced to ensure a relaxing stay! Any excessive or bothersome noises should not be expected and if so can be remedied immediately by reaching out to us! Guest access You will have access to the entire apartment as well as the patio area directly outside of the front door. Other things to note Justin & Emma are locals to the MDI area, born & raised. The housing crisis on MDI is real and families are being forced to leave their rentals to make way for more short term rentals. We are passionate about maintaining a balance between our year round community & the valuable tourism that supports this area and ensures we have access to year round resources. As such, we purchased this property in May of 2023 with the mission to provide year round housing to at least 1 family, which we have accomplished and are very happy to be part of the solution.
