The Blankenship Farmhouse is a cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. Fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer & gas BBQ. The home sits at the end of the road with views of lush green pastures that are often filled with horses, cows, elk or hay bales. Maximum occupancy 6 persons. No animals, of any kind, allowed in the house. Hand, dish & laundry soap provided. No shampoo. Here in the heart of Redwood National park we can loose electricity in the winter. We have a generator for all power except water heater The space The Blankenship Farmhouse is located in the rural town of Orick and the southern gateway to Redwood National Park. Freshwater lagoon and beach are a two minute drive from the farmhouse. The Lost Man World Heritage site, Lady Bird Johnson Grove & Prairie Creeek State Park are a short 10 minute drive from the house where you can see some of the worlds tallest trees Guest access Guests have access to the entire home, carport, as well as a large front and back lawn. Orick is located just minutes from numerous hiking trails of Redwood National and State Parks. We are located in the far north portion of California, 1 hour North of Eureka or 1 hour south of Crescent City.
