The Palapino is our pride and joy. With it we have created a comfortable accommodation for 2 people, which harmoniously blends with nature. In the Caribbean the houses are very colourful and so is our Palapino, which always makes for a good mood. The Palapino has all the comforts of a modern apartment. In the Caribbean it is never cold, and therefore is the Palapino the ideal place for people who want to spend their vacation close to nature. The modern kitchen with a ceramic stove top and a large fridge feels like an outdoor kitchen and our guests really enjoy it. The living area with bedroom and bathroom, the shower has a heater for warm water, is a closed space, and has windows with mosquito screens so that you can sleep in peace. For the enjoyment of our guests we have; - Two pools - Tropical garden - Garden palapa and BBQ area We are here to assist you at any time. Our vacation complex is located in the quieter north-west part of the island, in a small and noiseless residential area, at the foot of a large nature reserve. This makes for very peaceful vacation experience. The closest stores are about 2km away in the village Barber. Means of transport: There is a bus stop within walking distance, however, we highly recommend getting a rental car. The national parks are a 10 minute car ride away and the capital city of Willemstad can be reached within 30 minutes by car as well. Sport/Entertainment: At Don Genaro you can play darts and bowling. In the large shared palapa we have regular cocktail evenings, BBQ´s and wellness massages. For divers; we work in collaboration with a dive base that can help you with all your diving needs. Airport shuttle: For stays of more than 10 nights, Don Genaro will pick up and drop off guests at the airport for free. For stays of less than 10 nights we offer an airport shuttle for €30 one way. Car Rental: Don Genaro offers car rentals at reasonable rates. These will be waiting for you at the apartment upon arrival, and can be left here on the day of your departure.
