Elevated over a natural spring that flows year round, the Japanese inspired aesthetics of this private, tiny cabin sits perched atop a deck among the wooded trees overlooking the waterway the mineral spring feeds, but not before filling the in-ground, cedar lined, two person, bubbling hot tub heated with a wood burning stove. The space The cabin is furnished with traditional, extremely high quality, Japanese queen sized made futon and tatami mats for an exceptional comfortable sound sleep. Other things to note The tiny cabin does not have a kitchen or attached bathroom. It is one room as shown, intended for an upscale glamping experience. Private outhouses are approximately 100’ walk from the site. The spring water comes up at approx. 45F. We begin heating the tub once we know your expected time of arrival to properly time it for you to enjoy as soon as possible. YOU WILL ARRIVE TO A COLD TUB IF WE DO NOT KNOW YOUR TIME OF YOUR ARRIVAL. Guests are personally instructed how to easily use the wood heater, and are expected to maintain the heat for the tub during their stay. The private outhouse for this site is a short 100’ walk. All cooking is done outside on the deck with a propane grill, food prep counter and wash sink. Basic cookware and dining utensils provided.
