Welcome to Deer Haven Cottage - this updated and well-furnished mountain apartment in a peaceful quiet neighborhood is the perfect location to get away and decompress. Read a book or do yoga on the deck... or cozy up inside with friends or family. Just about 1.5 miles away is the village of Idyllwild, a Haven for art, food, and local wares. The property is nearby various hiking and mountain bike trails for every level, with some of the best in SoCal. Come relax in this calm, stylish space. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire unit and surrounding grounds including driveway parking for 2 cars. but will not have access to the main house in the rear of the property which is also a rental. Other things to note SNOW POLICY Welcome to our vacation retreat! During winter, for significant snowfall we will plow the driveway so you can park your vehicles. Additionally you will have the option to either pay a fee for our snow removal service or use the provided shovels to clear the snow on the walkway, and deck path to the hot tub yourself at no extra cost. Please be aware that we are not liable for any injuries due to winter conditions like slips and falls or auto accidents. Before your stay, we will send you a personalized rental agreement which will include details such as your check-in and check-out times, the number of guests staying, and some general house rules. Additionally, it will contain our contact information, and instructions you might need during your stay. We kindly ask you to read through the agreement carefully, sign it where required and email back to us The driveway has limited parking space available. You can park up to two normal-sized vehicles on the right side of the driveway, directly in front of the cottage. Kindly refrain from parking your car on the street. NOTE. The host is not responsible for any power outages, or utility interruptions, whether planned or unplanned, caused by SCE outages, propane delivery issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. If such disruptions were to happen during your stay, we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation without expecting a refund of rents and fees.
