This unit can hold the most guests out of all 5 units in our historic 12,000 square foot beach front building! Side note - This is the tallest freestanding property on Oneida Lake and was built by a famous physician from NYC in the 1800's, so much history here! Upon entry, be greeted by a grand kitchen and dining area, complete with a charming breakfast nook. An open floor plan effortlessly guides you to a relaxing living room boasting a comfy sectional couch, a smart TV, and elegant French doors leading out to your private patio, offering arguably the best views of the beach. Indulge in the mesmerizing Oneida Lake sunsets that can be savored year-round. The unit's recent transformation aims to fuse the indulgence of a brand-new beachfront resort with the time-honored history this home carries. The airy kitchen invites families to bond over cooking sessions while the expansive living room, furnished with a sectional and a 65" smart TV, promises entertainment for everyone. The dining area bridges both spaces, catering to large parties or those seeking to unwind with a friendly board game competition. Upstairs, discover four distinct bedrooms – one with mesmerizing water views, one outfitted with bunk beds, another housing a unique rope-strung hanging bed, and the final room resonating with warm, inviting hues. To aid in your decision, here are answers to common inquiries: Proximity to Oneida Lake? Your backyard is the beach! This home offers direct access to the sandy beach and waters of Oneida Lake. Cooking facilities? Absolutely! A fully stocked kitchen and an outdoor gas BBQ grill, with a view to boot, are at your disposal. Appliances are brand-new and include a toaster, microwave, and a Keurig coffee maker. Child-friendly? Absolutely! With ample outdoor space for activities and a beach to frolic on, children are more than welcome. Adult supervision is advised near the water. Games and activities? A wide assortment of board games and arcade games are available for indoor and outdoor fun. Outdoor seating? Plenty! The patio deck is furnished with new patio sets and cushions, and the backyard features fire pits, Adirondack chairs, additional seating and two brand new hot tubs! TV/Streaming services? All TVs are smart-enabled, allowing access to Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, and other subscribed networks. Pets? We love our furbabies too! Pets are welcome under certain conditions and additional fees. Please note, an outdoor only camera is installed for your safety and security. Guest access Parking for guests will be direct across the street in a large parking lot that is completely free for all Oneida House guests. Please be respectful of this arrangement and considerate of other guests' parking. All guests enter through the communal front door- Unit #2 guests will then walk straight forward to the door with "Unit #2" on it. Unit #2 guests have access to their private balcony (on BOTH floors) equipped with a grill, seating area, and patio and then down to the backyard, beach, and shared hot tubs. There is a spiral staircase that goes up to the other units and because the exterior staircase ends at another unit's patio we ask that guests are considerate of any other guests while using this staircase and do their best to respect those occupying that unit's privacy. Other things to note All guests are welcome to use the backyard, hot tubs, and beach area. Because this is a multi-unit house, we ask that all guests be respectful of others renting and are considerate of their noise levels, express caution when bringing luggage up and down the staircases, and display kindness when interacting with other guests. Unit #2 is on the first and second floors of a multi-unit building. A shared entrance through the front door opens up to a communal laundry area that is free for all guests in the building to use. The backyard has games, seating, and hot tubs for our guests to use as well. Please wash down all sand before entering the hot tubs.
